Nullhide Ferox2GG Creature — Beast {MR}
Hexproof
You can't cast noncreature spells. 2: Nullhide Ferox loses all abilities until end of turn. Any player may activate this ability.
If a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Nullhide Ferox, put it onto the battlefield instead of putting it into your graveyard.
6/6
Holy molly! Sure, opponents can pay 2 to ignore hexproof, but a 6/6 hexproof for 4 is quite the deal. The draw back can be dealt by deck construction. (Modern humans play almost no non-creatures spells for example.)
Weird card. I would have rather just had a plain 5/5 hexproof creature with no other abilities or something, but at worst, it's still a 4-mana 6/6 that can't be discarded.
How odd that a hexproof creature has an ability that lets an opponent activate it. Still, even if this spends more time as a vanilla 6/6 it is still a 6/6 and that's really good in Limited, presuming you open one.

Unpopular opinion: sorcery-speed removal is *not* as terrible as you think it is.
That 2 ability makes this design look kind chunky tbh
I know that a lot of people have problems with hexproof in terms of interactivity in the game so it would really maybe be easier to have hexproof go the rout of protection and make it deciduous while introducing a variable mechanic that just Force Spikes/Miscalculations/Mana Leaks any spell or ability that targets the creature instead of just blocking targeting entirely.

Soo u can pay the 2 to be able to cast non creature spells? Ye thats it a draw back that is not a draw back if you have mana. Maybe play some counterspells. This guy makes oponents go guard down vs counterspells
So, if you tap it to fight in an Arena, does that make it an Arena Ferox?

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I love how they can make this card seem super pushed and strong, but at the end of the day, you're getting a 6/6 hexproof for 4 mana. Yeah that's good... but come on people. Is it really THAT good? I mean this card ate up a mythic slot...
It's not even like it stops everyone from casting noncreature spells.

The card would be somewhat fine if it would not have the discard part.
That alone makes it unreasonable annoying to deal with it, and is a nail in the coffin for almost any "discard a card" effects.
The card wont "break" formats, especially not older formats, but its the kind of card that shapes a format and makes specific cards a hell lot worse than they would be otherwise (aka discard and more expensive point removal).
I really like the asymmetrical balance in the abilities of this card. Your opponent can pay 2 to be able to target it, allowing you to play instants (like counter magic). You can pay 2 to cast an important non-creature spell, at the cost of your opponent being able to kill it.

This is also quite the Burning Inquiry tech, on top of the obvious LotV's bane.

This card probably just outright makes Bolas unplayable.
If that was what they intended ? Probably not ...
