Niv-Mizzet is nothing like I hoped and still everything that I wanted.
I like these split cards so far, and the way they work so well with themselves I hope is a clue about some form of Jumpstart-granting device is in set.

Niv-Mizzet is cool, but honestly this raises some concerns for me. Downgrading the Guild Leaders to rares is both good and bad, but I do hope that they are still as strong as they would have been if they were mythic. I like that they should be easier to accquire though.
Another issue I have with them is that mana cost. This is a mana cost that all of the Guild Leaders will have to have or else it will feel clunky and uneven among the cycle. So all the guild leaders have to cost 6? Or some will require less colors? That feels clunky to me. I much preffered the double color and then some change mana like the last two times they did Ravnica.
A Parun cycle sonds powerfull(also, feather?). BG split is pushed. And that may be the best niv mizzet
Dont put your hopes up yet... Unless my theory that Aurelia has gone somewhat cuckoo ends up becoming true, the chance of a Feather card is still abysmally low.

Wizards wants more human faces on key characters, thats is where i put my 2 cents.
It's a way of forcing you into two colors. UURR is too easy, so why not go with UUURRR?
That last one, cantripping off all spells. And you may note he also goes infinite with Curiosity.
Find // Finality seems interesting, and should show the Selesnya and Boros who's boss.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
