So, after zoomed in and total perspectives of guildgates, we now get a view from the inside?
Seems flavorful for a setting of an outside menace that has agents in ravnica already, where every guild worries first and foremost about their own future and is suspicious about everyone else.
Guild Gates: Now bigger, better, and even more shiny! Now if any lore experts can chime in on saying what these actually are supposed to do, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise they feel like they are in this weird void between gain lands and regular budget dual lands.

Looking at the five different booster images, it looks like the guild symbols have been worked into the art. Emmara's staff, Aurelia's fist, Vraska's pet bug, the lightning around Ral, and the earpiece on the Dimir agent. That last one I'm less sure of, but it looks close enough.
Maro also stated, that we will only see two planeswalkers this set.
So Ral and Vraska will be the only two PWs in GRN? Huh. Well, there's always RNA for a Jace PW. He's the Living Guildpact, he should get some kind of presence in the block.
Since Ral and Vraska were presumably prioritized due to being native to Ravnica and heavily involved in its story, maybe Domri will appear in RNA? Seems like as good of a time as any to give him more story presence. On the other hand, they could also include Ramaz as a RG PW due to him being one of Bolas' minions. What better way to seed discord among the Guilds than by manipulating the one Guild that most wants the city to fall?

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Now to assume that this set isn't like Ixalan and follows the older paradigm of "one sort of playable but not really walker" and "one really balls to the walls awsome 4 drop walker". We still got big Sister Vraska in a pirate coat in this standard after all.

It's more likely that Ral and Vraska were prioritized because they're Izzet and Golgari, respectively, and therefore can't really fit into RNA, whereas Jace is mono-blue, and therefore works in any of the three sets.
Also, any new info about if hybrid mana cards are coming back?
