They look a bit dark but it's probably due to the foiling. As someone who loves the original Richard Wright basics, this is pretty cool. The Island looks a bit flat, but overall the fog effect is nice.
They need to do stuff like that more regularly, really mix it up with basic lands more. Unless they're, like, Time Spiral or MBS/NPH basics, they generally cannot get by on good artwork alone often enough for me to do much with them except put them in a box to take to my local game store and donate (even though, at this point, I don't know that they need those either).
Definitely on the hype train about these lands. Was thinking of just picking up the Izzet deck since that's my typical style but I might have to pick up one or two of the others too.
I’ve always thought Bob was more Orvhov than anything else, but I think there’s a greater chance that these will include a shockland, which is also unlikely.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
I want Bob to get reprinted, but he probably is too hot of a market spec to be in a guild kit.

I thought (incorrectly, and I don't know where I got this from) Wizards would market them as "brawl compatible" or something, since they come with two legends. And that they would be singleton decks to limit supply of reprints, without feeling unfair or out of date. But I can see that's not the case, I was just confused.
