“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"

I've been looking at these "storm" cards, without the actual storm.
I mean in a VERY specific deck, you could get some value out of them. But lets be realistic, they are most likely to be the effect and copied once. So double value.
Would I pay 6 mana for top two non-land cards into play? Probably not.
I got the feeling it's Food Chain or bust for these types of cards, which isn't really exciting for commander players as a whole.
Maybe you can get some of these one drops like Rhys the Redeemed to get some value, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I can't wait to make a deck that only has Omniscience as a non-land permanent.
I'm not sure how that deck will end up looking, but I like where your head is at!
I really want this to be a thing. Not sure what a deck like that would do other than be a degenerate combo deck, at which point getting a 4 mana discount on Omniscience is probably not the best way to approach degeneracy.

I mean, there's the old combo with Release the Ants, Enter the Infinite and Omni, you just leave an incredibly high-cost card on top from Enter, then ants ants ants. You could also throw Hypergenesis into your deck to get Omni out when you don't draw this card.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
I think this, blue, and black ones are the best of the bunch.
I'm actually not a fan of the black one, just because it costs nine mana for what amounts to a punisher card. Granted, a repeated punisher, à la Torment of Hailfire, but it can be pretty feel-bad against a token deck. I do like the others, though this and the blue and red ones are better than the white one.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Umm, I'm sure this was a joke post, but your deck would actually do nothing as you have no other spells to use with Omniscience Omniscience doesn't even work on your commander from the commander zone.
I really wish they'd (1) Keyworded "Commander Storm" and (2) printed some (C)/(U) complexity commander storm cards. A Shatter variant, a naturalize variant, a discard spell, a life gain spell... you know, things you might expect to see in people's decks regardless of their poor life decisions.
