Uhm. Noticing that i have never played against a card with bestow, i have a couple of questions regarding Kestia:
1) if i bestow her to a creature, her card drawing ability is lost, right?
2) if i bestow her to a creature and they doom blade the creature, will Kestia return to the battlefield as a creature or die?
1) No. She would be an aura with the buff and drawing abilities. You would draw a card when the enchanted creature attacks.
2) The bestow card becomes a creature when the enchanted creature dies. Kestia lives on as a creature.
Oh look, it's Bestow! And it's still just as bad as I remember it! Wow, how nostalgic!
What, you're serious? This is an actual card and not a cruel joke?
Joking aside, if you just completely ignore the Bestow crap on her, she's a decent enchantment commander. Lacks any way of protecting herself, so you'll have to plan around that.

Bestow is actually quite good. You'll never get two for one'd. And it helps you recover from wraths etc.

I kind of hated bestow back in the day too but Boon Satyr saw play and a few others were borderline. Nighthowler comes to mind as another. So, it's not Bestow that's the problem. It's that most of them were overpriced because wizard's were scared of Bestow+Heroic. Worst case, ignore that line and she's still pretty awesome.
Did the Mothership article strongly imply that Replenish is in the deck, or is it me?
Scott named two $60-$100+ reserved list cards in his article, which made me raise my eyebrows just a teensy, weensy bit. Might have been better if he had mentioned Open the Vaults or somesmuch, but overall it's a great reveal and article, so no harm done.

Yeah that was always my feeling, bestow is great, development was just scared of it and over costed everything but a few cards.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
And there she is! Kestia! I've been waiting for that spoiled art to be revealed on a card, and I am not disappointed. I've always wanted my Ephara deck to be Bant, but I could never find the right Commander. I refused to replace a Theros legend and Theros had no Bant Legends. Partner isn't for me either... but Kestia fixed this perfectly! I can't wait to convert the deck. I am so happy with this card, it even has the Nyx border! Rafic drew hate, Jenara was just a weaker Rafic, but Kestia is perfect - she's Theros themed, Bant AND supports my enchantments.
Man this Bant Enchantment deck delivered hard. It came for wigs and it tore and dragged them through the mud and BACK. So happy!
BTW this is the first Non-god Legendary Enchantment Creature
The First Legend with Bestow
The first Theros Legend with Three Colors
I like Bestow on her because it's a way to circumvent the command tax, but not in a broken way like Derevi
You still pay commander tax when bestowing.
Are you sure? I hope someone can explain this further.
The commander tax is an additional cost, as stated in Rule 903.8
903.8. A player may cast a commander he or she owns from the command zone. A commander cast from the command zone costs an additional {2} for each previous time the player casting it has cast it from the command zone that game.
Bestow is an alternative cost, as stated in Rule 702.102a
702.102a Bestow represents two static abilities, one that functions while the card with bestow is on the stack and another that functions both while it’s on the stack and while it’s on the battlefield. “Bestow [cost]” means “You may cast this card by paying [cost] rather than its mana cost.” and “If you chose to pay this spell’s bestow cost, it becomes an Aura enchantment and gains enchant creature. These effects last until one of two things happens: this spell has an illegal target as it resolves or the permanent this spell becomes, becomes unattached.” Paying a card’s bestow cost follows the rules for paying alternative costs in rules 601.2b and 601.2f–h. #
And when you pay an alternative cost you still have to pay all the additional costs, as stated in Rule 117.9d
117.9d If an alternative cost is being paid to cast a spell, any additional costs, cost increases, and cost reductions that affect that spell are applied to that alternative cost. (See rule 601.2f.)
Estrid's Invocation: this enchantement allows us to do some nice tricks with (for example) Oblivion Ring, Ghostly Prison or whatever you need in that very moment.
It is a slightly boosted Copy Enchantement, which was already nice in a WUx Enchantement in Modern.
I like Kestia. Basically "tribal" for both enchanted and enchantment creatures.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
My weird Atraxa, Praetors' Voice enchantress deck looking like it might happen. So far the enchantment theme deck is looking good and I am looking forward in buying it.
I realized what would have made me a LOT more excited about Kestia: if she would have bestowed Commander Damage capabilities to the enchanted creature as well.
