Top of your library-matters sounds dope. Cards that interact with the top of your library have been proven to be really strong in these colors (Enlightened/Vampiric/Mystical Tutor, Sensei's Divining Top, Narset Transcendant, Dark Confidant/Duskmantle Seer, etc. ). I am going to go out on a limb and say it is the Kamigawa-themed walker in Esper top-matters, with a reprint of Top and a couple of tutors, with some scrylands and bad fetches as well, with stuff like Brainstorm, Liliana Vess, Scroll Rack and the like. I could really see this being busted just as a control shell, with decent removal and huge wincons.
Jund lands and Bant Enchantress seems nice, I am sure UR artifacts will be a favorite as long as it has same/more power level than Jhoira.
The only Serran Survivors are OG Angels of which we don't know how many are left after the Phyrexian Invasion and Jhoira, Karn and Teferi. Jodah and Jaya are alive from that time period as well but were not really involved with Urza.
I wonder if we'll actually get Legendary Creature face cards and a Mono-Chrome Planeswalker in each deck? Like Bant deck has White Serra, Jund deck has Garuuk or something, UR deck has a Blue Commander, Esper deck has a Black one.
They're more associated with Golgari, but spiders are also a common trickster figure, hence red. At least that's what I imagine it is.
I think it's more a matter of SPIDERS ARE ****ING SCARY. And red has been known to use fear as a weapon, so if this is a Jund Spider legend, it will very likely give your Spiders menace, haste, vigilance, and possibly a good 2 or 3 extra power to turn your army of creepy eight-legged blockers into a terrifying horde of eight-legged attackers.
There's something specious though
There's only 48 spiders ever printed two of them involve white
I feel the spider could do both insects and spiders sub-theme for the land deck
I wonder if we'll actually get Legendary Creature face cards and a Mono-Chrome Planeswalker in each deck? Like Bant deck has White Serra, Jund deck has Garuuk or something, UR deck has a Blue Commander, Esper deck has a Black one.
Doubtful Walkers are the face of magic in terms of marketing. I see no world in which they wouldn't be the face cards. I am sure you will get an Izzet, Bant, Jund and Esper Legendary Creature(s) to go with your Legendary Planeswalker(s) but no I don't see Walkers not being the face cards.
They could get around their Serra issue by putting two Serra Walkers. Make the Face Bant and include a Mono White Serra.
Personally I don't mind Spiders they fit JUND as a giant spider is nightmare fuel plus there are plenty of tribes that need help in EDH. Tribal exist for Humans, Elves, Goblins, Merfolk and Spirits in other formats and for Zombies in EDH but most tribes cannot boast that. And even some of those tribes simply don't have enough good creature options to be effective in EDH if you want to stick to the theme, Singleton Format kills them. I am mostly talking about tribes with cheap options from cmc 1-3. We all know why Dragons and Angels and Demons struggle, they cost way too much and don't have much in the way of options from 1-3 cmc that are actually in that creature type.
The woman in the field makes me think of the goddess Ceres from Greek myth, especially with the way her hair is obviously meant to mirror the grain growing behind her.
Just a quick point: Ceres is Roman; the Greek goddess 'equivalent' is Demeter... the god who Karametra is mainly based on. Again, points to Bant for that card.
The masked lady is clearly an esper walker. Its seems apparent they are showing art from the legends the fanbase won't recognize because they are new. Hence why they didn't spoil anything from the UR artifacts. I don't think its probable that serra is the bant enchantress planeswalker, she could fit, but I see her more in a monowhite angels product. Tamiyo seems like a possible candidate. For me the question is if they are going to print one or two planeswalkers per deck. I hope its two.
The things I didn't like were:
The jund spider and the esper zombie. I am tired of this crowd that ask a limitless list of tribal options, like ishkanah was fine, but hey there are two red spiders and they are complaining because they can't include them. News: they are bad! the same happened with cats, with zombies, with five color dinosaurs, angels, etc. I am really tired of getting bad legends because of this, because the moment they get the bear they complain again about the bear not being bear enough, the werewolf not supporting enough, etc.
The themes seem nice, although I would have preferred azorius, jeskai or rakdos artifacts instead of izzet, too much going on for that combination, it already has the twins in battlebond. Its disproportional.
the things I liked were:
the lands theme, at last a good strategy around it
the bant enchantress, I already have one and there wasn't enough support.
the oldwalker Lord windgrace.
I think there does need to be an ESPER Zombie to unify the tribe and I would say nothing in that art screams to be that is an Esper Zombie, just a Zombie in an Esper Deck. But How many Red Spiders are there? Black Green is already a strong color pairing as it can basically do everything but counter. I mean yes in general more colors increase powers but I am not that is good thing for tribal because it means thing devolve into good stuff. The only tribes that need to be 5 colors are Humans, Dragons and I guess Allies if you want to count that. Most tribes are fine with 2 colors and maybe 3.
However, I say the problem for most tribes is not the Commander at the top of Tribe but filling in the rest of 99 cards minus lands so lets say about 60 cards of which about half are creatures. In a singleton format you usually have to put in generically good cards and/or crappy tribe members to fit the theme. Some tribes have plenty of options at higher cmc but nothing at low cmc. While other tribes simply lack the payoff options at higher cmc. And some just lack both.
Seb McKinnon always knocks it out of the park with his art.
Is that who did the little girl?
Yes. He's done a lot of really amazing pieces. My favorite is the Theros Unknown Shores.
With personality, too, rare amongst WotC art direction these days.
Art Description Instructions from WOTC Seb had to work with: "A girl standing in a swamp with moths. Make it heavily rendered to look half way between a 1997 PS1 video game screen capture and a cheap amateur submission on DeviantArt. Stray away from quality old magic art influences."
I mean most WOTC art these days is Standardized but technically fine not like its heavily pixelated or especially noobish. There are plenty of reasons to dislike most of the art for being boring and lacking personality but lets not go too far.

Hahaha this made me laugh. I do really enjoy this artwork as well.
Looks like she'll be an enchantment creature. Perhaps we'll see an artifact creature legend for Exquisite Invention? And we might even see a legendary land that can become a creature for the Land deck, with the "can be your commander" ability that planeswalkers currently use.
Anyone want to put bets on a BRG Omnath? Or how about a BRG Jackal legend from Amonkhet with a Desert theme? Or if we want to be real crazy, how about a BRG Dragon legend from Jund that works kinda like Dragon Broodmother but with Domain, creating up to three 1/1 Dragon tokens with devour 2 (and can go up to five in a WUBRG deck)? Though she would probably only create the tokens upon ETB.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I am tired of this crowd that ask a limitless list of tribal options, like ishkanah was fine, but hey there are two red spiders and they are complaining because they can't include them. News: they are bad!
I don't get the hate for the spider. Like the gitrog monster is land matter frog, with no frog tribal support, i don't get why the spider can't be the same
Commander must only be humans?
It's not so much the new spider as that there are a limited number of new cards in this product (regrettably, should be more) and only so many of them can be Legends. A legendary spider (again) that includes red could be done anywhere, and has been done already in a standard-legal set. Kamigawa themed cards, past character cards, etc. can only be done here, once a year, for a limited number of slots in these decks. Seeing one lost for such a trivial demand is kinda annoying.
What a waste of time. I think WotC just convinced me not to buy any M19 OR C18 with that train wreck.
Seriously, they call this the "Era of Feedback" while they delete chat messages because they mention a desire to see C18 stuff instead of stupid M19 crap. They clearly have no clue how to handle feedback that isn't unconditional praise.
And the art here is extremely disappointing. They might have shown us the art of six random commons from M19 for how much we can speculate about them. Sure, we got maybe one piece of cool planeswalker art, but it's not any recognizable character, so there's no reason to get at all excited.
Terrible way to hype a product.
Meanwhile, no one is talking about Battlebond, which is arguably another one of the most surprising successes they've had in a while. I'd rather open a box of that set than a box of M19, to be honest. The art is just so out of this world unique in that set and there are some really good reprints.

Fair enough but again the issue with Spiders is not the Commander its the other 30 to 40 odd creatures you need to fill out a Spider Tribal Deck. Even if you have some of those slots taken by mana dorks and Craterhoof.
It's not so much the new spider as that there are a limited number of new cards in this product (regrettably, should be more) and only so many of them can be Legends. Really? Tell me how many non-humanoid tricolor legends they put in a standard set during the past years.
Muldrotha in Dominaria
Gishath and Zacama in Ixalan
and then... oh right, nothing until Alara. Frigging 2008.
They don't put random tricolor legend into sets. They have to either be a tricolored-themed set, or an important storyline figures. And spiders aren't important storyline figures.
Meanwhile, m19 showed us that they can print character from the past during standard sets.
So if you really want Kamigawa characters that badly, you can also hope that m20 will focus on Tamiyo's backstory.
Meanwhile sorry if people are trying to enjoy a commander that isn't into one of the top 20 most printed creature types
Commander is the place of unusual legends. Ghave (fungus shaman), Mimeplasm (ooze) and Karador (centaur spirit) are example of cards that would have been a storm-scale rate of 8 to be printed in standard.
I'm pretty sure the number of people anticipating past characters getting cards far outnumber those anticipating a second attempt at a legendary spider for spider tribal that has Red, to play one extra spider. What a narrow niche to fill. Every C18 thread has been filled to the brim with discussions of Serra, and possible Kamigawa themed cards. I can promise you a lot less people will be happy getting Spider with Red only to be told to pray for M20 to have the Kamigawa themed cards we've all been anticipating for 13 years.
After skimming the link I've found an image that points out how the two are each wielding a sword (different to each other except in the color scheme which is common among all swords) and the fact that they have symbols in such likely places as their shield and on their horse armor with the symbols clearly being distinct from each other.
