Sarkhan, Fireblood1RR Legendary Planeswalker — Sarkhan (Mythic)
[+1]: You may discard a card. If you do, draw a card.
[+1]: Add two mana in any combination of colors. Spend this mana only to cast Dragon spells.
[-7]: Create four 5/5 red Dragon creature tokens with flying.
Honestly, I think this is best suited as a permanent rummager. For 3 mana, you get a “creature” with 4 power you get to rummage with on each of your turns. Then you eventually get a bunch of Dragons. Won’t protect itself, but it’s solid deck filtering.
PW deck Sarkhan has the same ult as Sarkhan Unbroken, and this Sarkhan has almost the same ult as Sarkhan Vol.
I guess Wizards are ran out of ideas after printing so many walkers every set.
If I had a 0/4 for 1RR that said 'once per turn, during your main phase, you may discard a card. If you do, draw a card.' and 'Creatures that attack it have wither.' I would be fine with it.
In a Dragon deck obviously it's better cause if it lives you get to cast a 6 drop on T4 with color already fixed. But nobody should let that happen in Commander/Brawl.
I actually kind of hate Sarkhan but I'm feeling this card for several reasons.
The art is honestly great. It's a 3 cmc planeswalker that at least feels effective. And most importantly to me it isn't following the Ob Nixilis template of having removal/protection ability , card draw/filtering, and then an ultimate. Sure those qualities might be what makes a planeswalker conventionally good but they're also boring as sin. This Sarkhan feels like a neat little utility package that can get you some big flyers if you can keep him around.
Also the art on Lathliss's tokens look just as gorgeous as she does.

Man. If you're in 3 mana PW territory, you have to be at least decent. This +1 couldn't just say add two mana of any combination of colors? Sarkhan Unbroken adds one mana randomly. I guess red does have a ton of weapons already and they want people to use dragons with R in their mana costs (all of them). T4 Lathliss I guess works.
Now I'm worried for Tezzeret being a 4CMC Pw that's poopy.

"The essence of every world, every spell and every thought is power. Nothing else matters, because nothing else exists."
This would definitely be underwhelming cast on curve. I don't know that I really see this being any good on any turn.
Dropping a six-mana Dragon on turn four ain't bad. I hope this ends up being a cheap card, because I probably want one for my Scion of the Ur-Dragon EDH deck.
I don't get the hate, this actually looks like one of the better red walkers. it's a looter (not random, so already better than Tibalt) that can let you loot crap, can eventually have a bonus in the form of a bunch of dragons, and if you are playing dragons, another mode. it's no LotV, but Red walksers are generally so bad, this could have a home.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
I think this is a great niche card. I would love to see more of this.
Basally my thoughts as well, great for dragon deck meh for everything else.

+1 Ramps. Sure, stuck in dragons, but that’s only terrible on curve. Turn 4 you untap with 6 mana to drop a dragon that will probably take over a game.
-7 ultimate that can end the game in short order.
3 starting loyalty for 3. Sounds like a good deal and I’m sure we’ll be seeing him in lots of upcoming Standard lists.
First +1 seems tacked on . . . id wish 4 somethin more dragon-specific, but cycling is generally useful. I still like him a lot. Looks powerful enough.

I could potentially see him in RDW after rotation and if they need some looting to get rid of dead cards, but that's pretty big maybe.
+1 loots. Solid, if unspectacular.
