Cricible has a big commander demand and sees some modern play. That should be enough to stabalize it at $30 or so. Scape shift is going to tank unless the big sellers try to stabalize it's price. It sees play in exactly 1 teir 2 deck.
I am going to have fun brewing with the clone and satyr. Another fun combo is with Crypt Champion.
Satyr Enchanter is interesting if ti turns out the signpost for the limited archetype for GW, as UW looks to be Artifacts. Perhaps there is a land archetype as well? Aslo, an Enchantress that is male
Ravnica always had an enchantment subtheme. Then again, Ravnica TBH had very few artifacts. (Though we don't know what the third Ravnica set will be.)
I think the big problem for Theros was, enchantments weren't really mentioned directly that much until JOU. Devotion hits on enchantments (and creatures, and planeswalkers), and heroic hits specifically on auras (and instants and sorceries), but both are a bit oblique about it. Bestow is more explicit, but most bestow costs were overcosted. But it still doesn't say enchantments matter so much as this is an enchantment.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
World Shaper doesn't get the opponent to dead, it's a good way to feed your engine (along with Muldrotha and Crucible), but the redundancy doesn't fix the issue I was bringing up (the lack of a UBG wincon).
Ravnica always had an enchantment subtheme. Then again, Ravnica TBH had very few artifacts. (Though we don't know what the third Ravnica set will be.)
Ravnica generally kept its Artifacts to color fixing only (a few super cool toys showed up, but a lot of space gets eaten by Signets/Keyrunes/Cluestones). To keep the balance of 'making sure multi-color matters' and 'a multicolor set without fixing would be the least fun to play.'
Can we stop being surprised when cards are upshifted due to popularity/secondary price.

Can we just be happy that the cards are being reprinted?

It's not surprise, it's frustration over Wizards disingenuous statement at the introduction of mythic rarity and continued misrepresentation of how rarity is decided. Players won't suddely stop being frustrated simply because wizards has lied about their intentions for X number of years anymore than they will stop getting mad at politicians for lying in their political campaigns. Players can quit, but if magic is your primary form of socializing it can impact your friendships, etc.

Well, considering the playerbase at large b***** when an underpowered card gets printed at Mythic *cough*Apex of Power*Cough*, and then they also b**** when an expensive, but powerful, card gets upshifted(see: this thread), damned if you do comes to mind.
Fact is, card needed a reprint. It wasn’t going to be uncommon, and it won’t be a standard format staple. Stick it at Mythic, and everybody wins. Secondary prices come down, doesn’t spoil a limited enviroment, and makes it a really nice parting gift for those that do open it.
This isn’t a wizards problem, this is a player expectation problem. Yes, Wizards said complex splashy creatures/spells would reside at Mythic. Except, none of those have/retain much value and it caused complaints of feelbad a of opening potentially useless mythical. Then, they started pushing standard staples into that rarity, and the playerbase complained because it inflated the prices of cards needed to play the format. So? What now? Besides nixing it all together.
Yes, reprinted at Mythic, but Mythic in a Core Set, for Pete's sake. Prices should plummet for a long time.
May you clarify why the price should plummet? Reprint at Mythic and Standart legal make me think the Opposite will happen. From my perspective it will skyrock until it rotates out of standart again.
I would only think that's true if there were something to break it in Standard. I mean, it's also only printed in one other set which is why it's price is currently so high. It is after all only played in ONE deck in Modern.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
HELL YES SCAPESHIFT!! Will finally be able to complete my playset since the card was maddening hard to find in my area for trade and the $60 price tag was above my "how much are you willing to pay for cardboard" limit. Furthermore, enough copies of this will probably encourage some players to delve into Modern with a deck that is otherwise quite cheap to build and easy to play.
I'm going to miss the awesome floating fish art from Morningtide but big win nonetheless.
It's going to be expensive AF but this paired with Crucible of Worlds promise some card advantage fun in Standard.
I think you'll find it's an unused Goblin Grenade.
But I'm happy to believe it's a weaponised cucumber, too.
EDIT: Oh, wait - I see it now, flying around in the background! I thought you were referring to the thing strapped to the Veteran's back!
I will now forever be mixing up Goblin Grenades and weaponised cucumbers whenever I play them...
Scapeshift at Mythic means we have some insane landfall shenanigans and a Valakut reprint in Limited, right? They totally wouldn't upshift it for money, right?
Or!
They could have just not reprinted it at all.
Also, how can you consider this an “upshift” when Mythic didn’t exist when it was first printed?
Yeah, just like rarity didn't exist back then when Chalice of the Void was first reprinted in the original MM or Cavern of Souls and Snapcaster Mage were printed in the original Innistrad. Also lol'd at "they could have just not reprinted it" black or white mentality fallacy.
Or!
They reprinted those cards in Masters sets with MSRP that’s almost double the price of these boosters, with a targeted audience to boot. So, what’s your point? Fact: Being reprinted here at Mythic is better than being reprinted in supplemental or masters set at rare. This made me LOL... Gotta get a little more creative with your negativity man, it’s lacking a bit.
Nobody is going to be upset opening one of these in their booster. Except maybe you, I suppose.
Lol'd at the black or white fallacy again, seems it's the only "argument" you can muster. Being reprinted here or in a Masters set aren't the only possibilities. Wanna know another "Fact"? Being reprinted here at rare is better than being reprinted here at Mythic. This could pretty much be a rare, because it wouldn't impact Limited in the slightest. Do you have any reason it shouldn't be? And don't give me the "iconic" status, as Doubling Season, Chalice of the Void, Snapcaster Mage and Cavern of Souls all saw print when mythic rarity existed and then they upshifted them when they crossed certain price line. Don't give me the "no one wants to open crap in Limited" argument either, they print crap cards at rare all the time. No one is going to get upset opening a Scapeshift as their rare P1P1 in a draft lmao. It would be far worse if they opened crap like Conjured Currency and their ilk that are in every set.
And then the ad hominem about negativity and being upset, lol. No, I'm not upset about opening one. Yes, I'm upset that WotC is in bed with certain secondary market vendors and won't reprint this or any other staples above the arbitrary price mark they've chosen at less than mythic. Are you a WotC shill by any chance? The fact that all your posts so far are fallacies of all kinds and that you're so eager to defend this decision with misdirecting "facts" certainly point this way. And if you aren't, well, I'm sorry to say it this way, but you're part of the problem and why they keep doing this time and again. I don't get why people act like this, being grateful about something they should be angry about, it's like stockholm syndrome. But well, to each their own I guess.
Like the old saying goes, WotC could put shiny turds in 9$ packs and people would still happily buy them.

Whew, lot to digest there. Not really going to touch on it as I’ve laid out my piece in a reply above, and, I also don’t think anything will get through that tin-foil hat of yours.
This could pretty much be a rare, because it wouldn't impact Limited in the slightest. Do you have any reason it shouldn't be?
Haha, ok. It pretty much could be. It also could be Mythic. Thanks for that. As for why? “Wouldn’t impact limited” is correct. It won’t, neither scapeshift or Crucible will at all. So, why make it card that shows up with more frequency? Just to lower the secondary market price? Thats your reasoning? Rares are supposed to bombs in limited, be able to swing games. Also, they should have a high number of constructed playables because they are printed at a higher frequency and in turn keeps prices low enough for people to buy into the format. So, by your sound logic, you want cards that won’t see play in the 2 primary formats these sets are designed for to be put at a rarity where they’ll show up more, and be easier to get. Yeah, that makes a ton of sense there bud.
On the other hand, put them both at rare, tank their respective prices to near bin-rare level, and then have them be both worthless in terms of value and playability. That’s some next level thinking right there.
BTW, I’ve actually never purchased a booster pack in my life for the sole intent of opening it. I’ve drafted, sure, which is why I understand(to an extent) why they do what they do. It’s also why I’d be even more pissed to open either of these in my rare slot knowing that they don’t do anything in draft or standard, and then realize what once was a $60 card is now <$5. But hey, now they are affordable for the people who care, so I should be ok with that I guess.
Also, how can you consider this an “upshift” when Mythic didn’t exist when it was first printed?
