Anywho, these are pretty sweet. Another enchantress card, Mirror Image is a solid clone, and obviously Scapeshift is a needed reprint that I’m surprised made it back into standard. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Yes, reprinted at Mythic, but Mythic in a Core Set, for Pete's sake. Prices should plummet for a long time.
May you clarify why the price should plummet? Reprint at Mythic and Standart legal make me think the Opposite will happen. From my perspective it will skyrock until it rotates out of standart again.
The satyr being an "enchantress" also gives me hope that Theros, whenever it comes around again, will be much more enchantment-focused than before.
Agreed. The problem with Theros is well-known - it overpromised. We were expecting "the enchantment block", which was highly anticipated. What we wound up getting was "the Greek mythology block", which a lot of people also wanted, with enchantments as a mechanical theme. Turns out those are very different.
Next time they can definitely turn the enchantment knobs up without having to do Gods, Heroes, and Monsters.
Finally Scapeshift reprint. It has been a long time coming, welcome back!

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
Scapeshift at Mythic means we have some insane landfall shenanigans and a Valakut reprint in Limited, right? They totally wouldn't upshift it for money, right?

Unless there is something that comes along to work well with Standard it probably won't see much play there since it lacks valakut. There might come along some powerful lands in the next few sets, but it doesn't seem too likely.
The set itself also has several other high dollar reprints (Crucible of Worlds was spoiled today) and with a number of high value reprints each one goes down further since it makes the point where opening a box maintains value.

Or!
They could have just not reprinted it at all.
Also, how can you consider this an “upshift” when Mythic didn’t exist when it was first printed?

If a card is completely, utterly useless in limited, it's actually better for limited to put it at mythic than at rare, since it more rarely leads to the disappointment of opening a brick in your rare slot.
Now, I'm NOT saying that the rarity upgrade isn't done because of its secondary price. It totally is. It shouldn't surprise anyone anymore, I can barely believe that we're still having this conversation. But a reprint is a reprint, and this will tank its price, even at mythic, since it probably won't see play in standard and it isn't top tier in modern anymore. I welcome it.

Yeah, just like rarity didn't exist back then when Chalice of the Void was first reprinted in the original MM or Cavern of Souls and Snapcaster Mage were printed in the original Innistrad. Also lol'd at "they could have just not reprinted it" black or white mentality fallacy.

The fact that we're thankful about it is part of the problem and why they keep doing it. Were people as vocal about it as they were about IMA and M25, they wouldn't probably do it as often nor as blatantly as two back to back sets (talking about Battlebond here).

They reprinted those cards in Masters sets with MSRP that’s almost double the price of these boosters, with a targeted audience to boot. So, what’s your point? Fact: Being reprinted here at Mythic is better than being reprinted in supplemental or masters set at rare. This made me LOL... Gotta get a little more creative with your negativity man, it’s lacking a bit.
Nobody is going to be upset opening one of these in their booster. Except maybe you, I suppose.
Satyr Enchanter is interesting if ti turns out the signpost for the limited archetype for GW, as UW looks to be Artifacts. Perhaps there is a land archetype as well? Aslo, an Enchantress that is male
Volley Veteran is a great limited reward for playing goblins, potentially acting like a Flame Tongue Kavu in the right decks.
May you clarify why the price should plummet? Reprint at Mythic and Standart legal make me think the Opposite will happen. From my perspective it will skyrock until it rotates out of standart again.
Before Valakut, Scapeshift was a 25 cent bin rare. Unless they reprint the other half, too (hint: they won't), it's not doing anything in Standard.
I don't think the Satyr Enchanter has anything to do with an upcoming Theros set/block.
M19 will rotate in fall 2019. Assuming the next 4 sets after this are 3x ravnica 1x m21, this will leave standard the very moment a potential theros set could arrive.
It might be a plant for C18 though.
Oh,I hope you are right. Every C set I have hoped for a bant enchantress to lead my Treva deck. Don't get me wrong, Treva is a fine commander but one of the 2 cards in the 100 without the word Enchantment in it somewhere (type line or text box). The other being Monastery Mentor and I give it a pass for the way prowess includes them anyway.
Clone effects are at uncommon now. This is not a drill!
Considering Clone was uncommon in Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, and Revised, I wouldn't mind if it was downshifted there again. This is no Clone (can't copy opponents' creatures), but it's a nice step in that direction. I like that it's only three mana.

The fact that its three mana is great considering azorious titan decks in modern can now cast a sun titan and return this guy back to the battlefield copying sun titan all day!

Also guess the Theran Satyr wasn't a Bolas thing despite the pseudo-Gem of Becoming. I prefer it to be this way, I love playing enchantress decks.

Having an enchantress effect in Standard is interesting, especially with the Sagas and all.
Scapeshift getting a reprint is neat, but what practical applications would it have in Standard (except drawing a lot of cards with Tatyova)?
Is that a really bad pun on the Image?
And yeah....SCAPESHIFT
