How about reprinting the Tron Lands to open this rivalry up a bit more.

STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
Who is the Demon? Guess we'll see him as a legendary in this set.
My first thought was Ob Nixilus. Reignited has the wings and the horns.
It isn't. Not only does he not look anything like him, but Ob Nixilis wanted the Eldrazi to destroy Zendikar. This guy, on the other hand, wants to save Zendikar for his own selfish interests.
Well this has interesting implications about future standard threats. I doubt this was made just to hose Kaladesh, or any other preexisting threat in standard. Even if it was, why would they print hosers to sets that will rotate in 3 months anyway?.
It's possible this was designed just to address threats within M19 limited, but putting a limited answer at rare seems odd. It's also possible that this is an answer to something in Ixalan block or Dominaria, but neither of those has any real colorless threats (aside from maybe Karn, I guess, but you'd think his tokens would warrent some other form of hatecard than one-shot spot removal).
It seems more likely that this is aimed at something coming in future sets.
The only problem there is that we'll be on Ravnica for the next 3 sets, and then another core set, followed by another rotation. That means that the threats this card is designed for would likely have to be in one of these Ravnica sets, a world not known for its colorless cards.
We do know that the third Ravnica set doesn't focus on the Guilds, so it's possible it could have a colorless theme for some reason, but that strikes me as odd too.
Overall, this is just a bizarre card to see in this meta.
Could that be possible for modern sideboard against tron and affinity?
I'm not sure it could have been telegraphed any harder. Look at the artwork. It screams "Use me against EldraziTron".

Given this information
- Story features the past of Ugin, Bolas, and the other original Elder Dragons from Legends
- Vivien's article implied that either the five characters on the packs (Ajani, Tezzeret, Liliana, Sarkhan, Vivien) or them and Bolas are the only planeswalkers
Maybe we have a colorless pre-spark version of Ugin that might be good?
This makes me ask so many questions that the only thing I can really say to it is "why"?
I think my biggest question is why it's black. Like, I get that black can exile stuff, but...
A) White is traditionally a hoser color
B) White traditionally runs these one mana exile effects
C) White could also actually use the help to be more of a solid Modern color.

but maybe I'm thinking about it too much.
I can answer the B one at least: MaRo often says that while White is allowed to exile creatures, the 1 mana exile spells are considered a mistake, at least color pie wise. Black is supposed to be the best color in creature removal and it is quite hard to top Sword to Plowshares or Path to Exile. So at least in Standard they are avoiding making White removals better than Black removals

Idiotic modern anti-Eldrazi, reverse sword-to-plowshares. They must really hate eldrazi to print this. Also answers ballista in tron. Blah.

Good riddens. Can't wait to crack a foil one in my box if I decide to buy one.
Also, who is the Demon? Doesn't really look like Ob Nixilis to me

The quote makes sense for it to be Ob Nixilis, as well.

Exiling the original Eldrazi titans would prevent them from being reshuffled back into that player's deck.
