Red mythics are generally ***** overall and just not creative. Outside of very few cards, the only good red mythics are just efficiently costed powerful creatures. One of the very few mythics that's red in the sense of color pie while being powerful but not just an efficient creature is sneak attack, which has become so incredibly busted due to the emergence is very big creatures with very powerful abilities. The problem is that there's no way they could reprint Sneak Attack in Standard or even if they were to create a way to put cards into Modern without going through Standard. I feel like if they were to create playable mythics that aren't just efficient, powerful creatures, while fitting in red's color pie, the card would be incredibly broken. It's frustrating because red consistently gets garbage, non-playable mythics. Yeah, Chandra is great, but outside of that, what is there? Yeah, Verix Bladewing is a playable and powerful card and fits red's color pie, but it's not interesting, it's just an efficiently costed rare effect. I really hope Wizards figures out how to make constructed viable red mythics beyond efficient creatures.
