How is the Date Stamped Promos working for Battlebond? Usually they're for prereleases and can be any rare card. Is it the same for Battlebond? Is it any rare?
There are and they can be any pair of cards with "partne with ...", each team of players will get 1 pair of them to play ate the start of the event, they will have alternative art.
2. Launch Party Promos will be two-card packs.
There are twenty-two promos, some with alternate art and all with foil treatment, and they come in two-card packs. The card pairs will interact with one another, and they will go in players' decks. You'll see what we mean closer to release.
Core stores get 16 packs (32 cards total); Advanced and Advanced Plus get 32 (64 cards). You'll issue one pack to each to each team.
note, these are not to be given out for the sneak-peek on the 2nd/3rd. You need to play during the Launch Events on the 9th/10th. even though those will be more likely drafts, and these promos make a ton more sense for sealed, which is the only way to play on the 2nd/3rd and the norm for pre-releases.
I received 36 promo packs, SUPER EASY to know partner duo is in each so hopefully the stores won't let people choose their packs.
And yes, they are only to be given on June 9th&10th

That would explain why my store contacted me to see if I would be playing this weekend. Why bother playing during the sneak peek when we already know what cards are in the set? I would much rather play the following week to pick up one of the duos.

Meh, my bad, I though there will only be a release promo as per usual. I should read the mothership articles, but ain't nobody got time for that

The only one duo I only got once is the kid with his imaginary pet.
All the others I got 3-4 of them (still sealed lol, was just curious)

One local store here gave out the promos this weekend instead of next weekend. The only partners my team got were the promos, not a single one out of our packs....at least our promos were the walkers
Is the planeswalker duo in there too? if so, goddamn.
Yes, and they are very easy to spot on the “sealed blind bag...
How?
The cards are upside down in the sealed bag, you can't see the art.
Both promo cards face a white card with black text on them (sorry, I didn't pay attention to what it said). It's very easy to hold the edges of the white card through the clear plastic and shake the pack so the promo cards slide up or down to reveal the cards.

I've see the packs and you don't even need to do that.
You can gently use your finger nail and gently push the white card up or down. The plastic is very loose. Down to see the name of the cards, up to see the card number and artist. It doesn't take very much practice to do it. My LGS owner demonstrated it for me and he's already looked at his packs out of curiosity. He intends to shuffle the packs in front of the group and hand them out face down to avoid any accusations from the players.
We got the Angel Demon duo in our sealed pool and as the bonus. Was pretty sweet, hope they do this again for M19 as well.

Yup. All 22 cards are available, and the PWs have different art.
