Well, I'm sorry. I had no idea untapping any land was such a bad ability, and doing it twice.
5UU to double the draw on an Azure Mage (plus, you can help your partner) seems about right, even if you double the mana cost to do it.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Its a nice little combo you can do turn 5. Not powerful but for draft/limited can be helpful.

“There are no weak Jews. I am descended from those who wrestle angels and kill giants. We were chosen by God. You were chosen by a pathetic little man who can't seem to grow a full mustache"
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
My point is it seems weird to mix some of the best Cards in Commander and other formats as reprints with new cards that are so obviously inferior for the most part. Granted we haven't seen most of the uncommons.
4 man to play and another 7 to draw 2 on a bear? Ugh these new cards are so weak and safe.
Ley Weaver is a strictly better Argothian Elder, which combos with Maze of Ith for infinite mana. And I had it pointed out to me that Lore Weaver gives you an outlet for that infinite mana.
Not going to be something in Battlebond Limited, most likely, but easily doable in constructed.
Infinite mana, but only during your combat step. Sorry, I felt that was kind of necessary to mention.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Writing on old Thread (more than 4 months ago) is not alowed, it is called a Necro and will cause the Thread be locked and if you do it alot of times you may get a warning. Indeed your observation is valid but next time try to not post on a realy old thread.
When you need to post on a old Thread to discuss a old card please go to new card discussion and create a thread there or look for one of the card. If you have questions about the card make a thread on that part of the rumor mill (new card discussion) or go to the rules forum.
& 2, the generally accepted definition of Strictly Better specifically excludes your circumstance, s if you're going to argue the Strictly Better argument you should be following the generally accepted definition. https://mtg.gamepedia.com/Strictly_better ""Strictly better" status is not dependent on creature type. More generally, such comparisons between cards are made independent of any particular board state. Therefore, because of the sheer number of possible gameplay circumstances, for any given "strictly better" card, there is typically some imaginable set of circumstances in which it is, in fact, inferior to another card that would otherwise rank below it."
& 3, even if you had Argothian Elder and Wirewood Lodge, if you don't have a land that produces more than a single mana or something that triggers off an ability activation or tapping or untapping, this 'go infinite' doesn't actually *do* anything but let you turn your cards sideways and back an indefinite number of times for no benefit. The Wirewood Lodge costs a G and tapping itself to untap an elf, so unless the other land produces more than just a G, it's an infinite useless machine.

Yep! Partner is a great keyword, and The Mimeoplasm wouldn’t mind getting both abilities together on a convenient cast!

its not just you
Ley Weaver isn't STRICTLY better than Argothian Elder. Argothian Elder can also go infinite with Wirewood Lodge (and it doesn't have to be in combat)
