Artifact theme at common is 100% just a theme in the draft environment and not some hint of what the following fall/spring sets are. Some cards with that theme might impact Standard (Ensoul Artifact reprint?), but M15 had a similar theme and it wasn't in Standard with any artifact blocks.
Really has a prominent theme in any set ever turned out to be a hint at what was coming afterwards, even in a core set? There's often a few plants meant to synergize with future sets but never something like a full draft archetype.
Also, the blue 1-drop that gets a bonus if you control an artifact is substantially worse than a phantasmal bear, for the same reason that Ghitu Lavarunner is substantially worse than Goblin Guide.

On average, Magic players are worse at new card evaluation than almost every other skill, except perhaps sideboarding.
Karn just unearthed a Sylex he plans to detonate on Phyrexia in the story. It's possible. I'd be disappointed if we went from Dominaria to New Phyrexia though. I'm sure they'll pick up with them again, but I'd rather have returned to Theros once and give Vryn a proper visit before we address Phyrexia OR the Bolas invasion.
I'm pretty sure that a lot of people would be getting pretty tired of artifact themed sets if one comes in right as Kaladesh is leaving. Give artifacts some time to rest.

We’re already at 32 spoiled commons. The Core M19 Set will have about 101 commons? I’d say we’re about 15-20 spoiled commons away from confidently statistically saying Slivers aren’t in this set either. I almost feel we could say that already but this was just one commons sheet, correct?

half of one, I think. I don't know exactly how the sheets are processed after being cut in half, but it's possible they caught the other half. but even if it's out there, the cards could be very far apart geographically and may take some time to surface.
My thinking:
The fact that all the cards are from exclusively 3 colours ... would be exceedingly unlikely for a random subset of a normal print sheet. It would be very improbable to break down that way. Normal print sheets don’t group by color. This many spoiled, and zero green zero black, is incredibly unlikely if this was even a portion of a normal common sheet.
Which leads me to believe these aren’t from a printing of the regular print sheets for regular boosters, but they’re from the M19 versions of the new ‘color themed boosters’ - they were from special sheets that only had the cards destined for the red, blue, and white color themed boosters.
Slivers is a tribe that only ‘works’ as a multi color theme. If they were picking the common sets to include in the color themed boosters they may very well have chosen to exclude slivers from all of them - because it’s not a strategy they expect a purchaser of a single color booster pack to be interested in pursuing.
Ergo I believe this says nothing at all about the presence or absence of slivers in the normal 2019 product. I think it only says they’re not in the color themed booster line of m19.

they do, actually. this is exactly how one of the dominaria sheets looks.
They print commons on 2 sheets of 121 cards. one has cards on it 2x, the other 3x, with one card on both sheets once. print 3 of the first for 2 of the second, and all but that weird card has the same rarity (and the other is 5:6, reasonably close)
each of those two sheets is then cut in "half", so there are four groups of commons. one has 33 cards twice (66 total), one 27 cards twice + 1 once (55), once 22 cards thrice (66), and once 18 cards thrice + 1 once (55).
each pack always gets some number of cards from the first two runs, and the rest of the pack from either of the last two runs. so, to guarantee as best as possible that each pack will have at least one common of each color, the first two runs are strongly color coded. in Dominaria, the first run is 100% red, white and blue (and you usually get 3 or 4 cards per pack), and the second is 100% black and green (and you usually get 2 or 4 cards per pack). foils can mess with that, and the occasional mistake happens, but otherwise, you are guaranteed 1-2 cards in each color in the first 5-8 cards in the pack. the other two runs are a lot more random.
So, this is very clearly the 33x2 run, and we're likely to get one more blue card soon. whether the second half of the sheet made it to packs is a guess, but it might take years for that particular set of boxes to get opened.
Any cards you open in packs for draft can be played.
Not necessarily true.
"7.4 Abnormal Product
Neither Wizards of the Coast nor the Tournament Organizer guarantee any specific distribution of card rarities or frequency in a particular booster pack or tournament pack. If a player receives an unconventional distribution of rarities or frequencies in a particular booster pack or deck, he or she must call for a judge. The final decision to replace or allow the atypical product is at the discretion of the Head Judge and the Tournament Organizer."
Pretty sure opening Core 2019 cards in a Dominaria pack qualify as "atypical product"
That's about rarity, so I'm not sure if Core 2019 commons replacing Dominaria commons would fall under that.
I'm reminded of the Journey into Nyx God Packs (one of each Theros block god), WotC said the Judge/TO may ask you to set them aside and open a new pack, as per that rule (though not cited) https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/arcana/divine-gift-2014-04-28-0
Masterpiece Series cards are playable in Limited. Zendikar Priceless Treasures are not, but I those replaced the basic land, making it a moot point in this context. I think these are the only times WOTC has deliberately violated a booster's usual rarity mix.
Fire Elemental and Tolarian Scholar is in this set? What´s the deal with reprints in back to back sets these days? Will M19 contain Colossal Dreadmaw and Ravenous Chupacabra as well?

Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
There was nothing unusual about Ravenous Chupacabra getting printed in RIX then A25. A25 was promised to have at least one card from every set. By definition this includes the most recent one. Something was going to be reprinted from RIX, by set definition.
Further there is nothing unusual about Core Sets getting reprints of simple cards shortly after they appear in an expansion. I think Mass of Ghouls and Cancel made it into core sets quote quickly.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Sorry, this is kind of an off-time question, but what does it mean "commons leaked in Dominaria packaged product¨?
Does it mean those commons were inside a Dominaria package?
Thanks in advance guys.
Exactly that. Someone cracked open some Dominaria packs and found common cards from a future yet-to-be-released set inside. All I got when I cracked my packs was a Karn
Interesting that the new C19 cards were printed before Dominaria but Dominaria was released before it. I wonder if this means there was a release schedule change? Oh well....
I'd actually guess it's a case of archaeomancer being too weak in limited, rather than too strong, or at least not playing out in as fun of a way. Bumping up his size to a 2/2 makes it into an actual creature, and thus worth slightly more.

Edit - Anticipate isn't a new card, but it's the first I've heard of it, seems like a decent slightly worse Telling Time variant. Inspired Charge seems like even worse jank after Charge. Dub has performed well in Limited so I guess Knight's Pledge will too. Mighty Leap and Trumpet Blast might likewise be good Limited combat tricks.
Today I learned about particular common sheets having only certain colors so when combined with other sheets they make a pack's color mix less random
