I have to say, I love Urza's Tome for turning redundant legends into gas.

Mishra's Self-Replicator could've been 3, but that's my opinion. I'll probably put Jhoira's Familiar in my 5C legends tribal deck.

Kwende is pretty cool.

I thought it was overcosted at first as well, until I realized how out of control it gets in an artifact deck (you can pay 1 for each copy you have out to make more and more copies until you can pretty much flood the board). Think of that in something like a Cheerios deck...

EDIT: In Standard, Self-Assembler can tutor for this card.

Jhoira's familiar flavor text - amazing. Card itself - quite bad.

Self-replicator costs a LOT for its ability. I agree with AnImAr_ it could easily have been CMC 3.

Urza's Tome is interesting, but I think it is a bit too slow and clunky.

I wish Kwende cost one less, but it can make for an interesting white-weenie general regardless.

The Cartouche of Solidarity and See Red just got better.

The Self-Replicator is pretty cool and combolishious, especially with 0-cost artifacts and self bounce. 5 seems much, but all copies trigger, so there is exponential growth possible. And it's cool with Assembly-Worker tribal in EDH.

Kwende's art is amazing.

Jhoira's Familiar is adorable. The flavor text is groan-worthy, but the art and effect are nice. All artifacts and legends costing 1 less is pretty powerful, though it does look a bit overcosted compared to Cloud Key, Etherium Sculptor, and Foundry Inspector if you are mostly just wanting cheaper artifacts.

Jhoira's Familiar reminds me of Bubo from Clash of the Titans, nice call-back but unexpected on a non-Theros plane.
Meh stuff all around today, the familiar is the only thing I can see myself even trying to play outside Limited. ;_;

Mishra's Self replicator is slightly over costed but I can understand why. As that copy cost is extremely cheap.
Urza's Tome will be useful. As you could discard a historic spell with one activation and then exile that same card with the next activation.
Kwende, Pride of Femeref just oozes flavor. Also has some neat synergy in standard with Warlord's Fury.

I really dig T'challa Frandar Hunding Kwende's flavor and art and he's a fun build-around.

Kwende looks like he's got a Tarantula on his head. Once I noticed it I couldn't not notice it...

Replicator is costly for the unfortunate fact that it is bonker with moxen. They had no choice to put its CMC high and P/T low. (Also almost as great with other-zero cost artifacts like ornithopter, etc.)

Kwende is just a wee bit too expensive for consideration in modern human. Making Thalia double-strike just is not enough of a pay-off.

Familiar is good in limited, maybe constructed.

Edit: oh wait, I missed that the self-replicator replicates itself... yeah, pretty bonker with moxen and sol ring.

Familiar is probably good in Kozilek, Butcher of Truth edh. It gives the standard artifact discount, but also applies to Kozilek which is significant. Aside from this case you are probably better off with the other cost reducers already mentioned.

Replicator's trigger is also quasi-free if you can flip Storm the Vaults... which it helps you to do.

Jhoira's familiar alongside Foundry Inspector adds more cost reduction for artifacts.

Tome is great. Great to exile those used Sagas in limited.

You realize each copy has its self-clone ability, right? And Anointed Procession is still in Standard.

I can see why they were careful.

Expected Kwende to be a junk rare. Much more exciting for the set as an uncommon.

Is no one else going to be calling Jhoira's Familiar Bubo? Cuz with such an obvious allusion, I don't know why WOTC would've called it anything but Bubo.
