The staff is also pretty much the same. I would call it a nice throwback but since the 3 skeletons are literally copy-pasted and then mirrored, I'm just going to call it lazy.
Crap rare. I feel like they should scale up the token count instead of doing the same for I and II. Something like 2, then 3. You get more and more followers, there's progression.
As a rare this is pretty bad, but its still a potential big flyer, even if it takes 2 turns after you play it (and then still another turn to attack and the drawback might just kill you).
Could produce a lot more tokens, that would make it more interesting and the demon part a "bonus", rather than the only thing this card justifies.
3 tokens per saga counter would be pretty reasonable , as it would provide enough blockers to make this a thing.
I'm intrigued by the story implications. Other Sagas refer to more or less famous parts of the past - history a deeply enfranchised Vorthos would know about. But this seems to refer to the yet to be fully revealed history behind Belzenlok - and the art either sees something turning into a visual facsimile of Belzenlok or the Elder Demon actually being brought into the world as an amalgamation of multiple entities (pretty much like his fake history is an amalgam of the deeds of others).
Is this literally how he came into being? Is being made up of other beings less literal and just kinda implying what we already know about him assimilating the exploits of others into his biography? Is this even a real event or is the Saga about Belzenlok just another layer of lies?

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

They're actually not. If you really look at it you can see that there are slight differences in their placement and fine details, both from one side to the other, and from the others on the same side as them.
Given this set's track record, I'm surprised this isn't either Uncommon or Mythic. Cute throwback to Breeding Pit and Lord of the Pit, though.
Edit: missed the part where it makes 2 tokens for the first 2 verses. Much nicer than I thought, 5 pieces of sac fodder for 4 mana ain't bad, and might be worth Hex Parasite-ing
Who cares about the 6/6 token? Turn 4 Rite of Belzenlok, get 2 tokens, turn 5 let chapter II resolve, get two more tokens, then BB and sac 3 cleric tokens for Torgaar. You can even do this one turn sooner if you turn 1 Blooming Marsh into Llanowar Elves, if you are in to that sort of thing.
The Demon needed to have haste coming out of III. Your opponent gets plenty of warning from the Saga to balance out the benefits of haste. As it is it geive the opponent three turns to answer your demon.
Seb McKinnon is the best artist they have at the moment in my opinion. Beautiful work. I enjoy the singing skeleton motif.
It's amusing that people are accusing the art of being lazy, and copy/pasted. Even if that was used, it wouldn't save that much effort. I don't know anything about this artist's process, but to call something lazy just because it uses symmetry is absurd, and this is far from lazy work.
I also really like the card from a design perspective. It's adorable.
shout out to RhysticStudy's fantastic video on Seb McKinnon's art for helping me appreciate the moody, flat, stylized aesthetic. Also, this one in particular reminds me a bit of Hieonymus Bosch.
Throwback to Lord of the Pit and the tradition to feed him 0/1 Thrull tokens. Cool reference.
True, but you're not getting the 0/1s every turn, unlike Breeding Pit. The counterpoint is, how many turns do you need a 6/6 to end the game anyway? It has an interesting interaction with Anointed Procession, though: Once you're out of creatures, the two demons can eat each other.
And somehow whenever I see those skeletons, I think of the dancing zombies in Monster Party. Wait, why is the taiko talking? (Seriously, if you've ever gotten that far, it looks like the taiko is talking.)

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!
Those skeletons remind me of Egoraptor's Sequelitis review of Castlevania I and II, specifically the part about "goofy skeletons throwing bones". UH-HYEH-NYEH-NYEH-NYEH. Ah, Sequelitis. Such a tragically short-lived series.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
