And I am going to have a lot of fun with it.
That flavor :o....
Also cool card. Very cool effect at uncommon. Might be playable somewhere if there are enough sculpting steel effects..
It's common, not uncommon.
I echo Melkor - I feel this card really could have used a 'you can have any number' clause. For Brawl and the inevitable LimitedCommander offshoot, in singleton formats this is just a bad rock. Having only-useful-in-multiples cards and pushing a singleton format with the same set seems counterproductive.
Art looks sweet, card looks like it might be fun in a casual shell of some sort. Seems like you'd need a lot of mana to get this down then profit from it immediately.

Both are cool. The shards seem fun in Commander now Jhoira probably will lead my artifact deck, and I'll start to produce them with Prototype Portal and Mechanized Production.
Arkham, the 1920's. Investigators battle horrors from beyond time and space, risking life and sanity while conspiracies of cultists and malign servitors seek gateways for their outer gods to return...
Soon, the stars will be right! Great Cthulhu shall rise!
Love the card and the art but feel like it could have cost 1 less. As it is the effect is 2 regrowths and a twincast so you only save 1 mana and it's more limited in application forcing you to cast the spell on your turn

Note that it's way more than a Twincast: it copies any and all instants/sorceries cast during the entire turn. It's a one-turn Swarm Intelligence.
I don't think it's a great card, but I might try a copy in my Kruphix creatureless spellslinger deck.
It goes infinite with some way to remove counters (Power Conduit, etc.) and a Time Warp or similar.

Except it is not A Twincast. It is potentially multiple Twincasts, one for EACH instant and sorcery you cast that turn. It is something you would have to build your deck towards in order to make the most of. I'm thinking of this in a blue/red deck, getting to copy multiple card draw and/or burn spells seems pretty good.
The Shard probably should have had a clause to allow more in your deck, but it's no biggy. It'll be fun to copy it with Mirrorworks, Sculpting Steel, and other cards.
What land mass is that supposed to be? I would have thought that it would be Otaria, since that's where the Odyssey took place, featuring the Mirari, but this doesn't resemble the known Otaria map at all, nor any of the other major continents as I recognize them.

It IS Otaria. It's just turned to an unexpected angle. Same shape.

should have had 'you can have any number of X'
It's a common tho.

Even better. These new white common symbols need s little taking used to..

Good thing that in Limited you already can.

Not that bad if you run something like Mechanized Production or Prototype Portal, deserves to give it a try in Jhoira EDH at least.
