So apparently this is her description in the survey?
Vivien hails from a tribe of forest dwellers whose homeland was already threatened by encroaching civilization. When her plane itself was destroyed, Vivien managed to escape with the Arkbow, a piece of advanced magical technology capable of "storing" the essence of any creatures Vivien encounters. After seeing the impact of civilization on her home, Vivien now travels the planes, seeking out the essences of new creatures on her mission to ultimately restore balance to the Multiverse.
Can someone confirm or deny this?
So she's Elric as a woman? Elric stored "essence" in Stormbringer and ultimately cleared his multiverse by self-apocalypse, essentially.
I'm all for exiling critters, will even exile my own to keep the Arkbow happy.

Honestly, I'm surprised there hasn't been some huge flame war yet in this thread over the fact that the new planeswalker is a woman of color. Never stop surprising me, MTGS!!
Uhh... we have had a pretty racially dynamic group of characters in MTG for awhile now, including a one eyed Lion man and a Golem. I don't see why having a woman of color should rustle anyone's jimmies, or why it's even worth bringing it up.
This new walker looks like a nice bonus.
But i would like wizards to change there art style back to normal again.
I feel in the new arts everything is like made for cartoons for kids or something.
Since the amonkhet block more and more arts became genderless lego blocks for humans or humonoids.
with this new walker i can make an very easy example. If you draw something male in human like form you draw it with more straight lines and squarish .
If you draw a female you draw more with curved lines and more hourglass shape.
In my opinion the last 2 Sets more and more cards (Not every card) feauture a bodyshape that is pure rectangle. And so 100% genderless.
With this i do not want them to go back to arts like liliana of the veil but more to arts like raymond swanland draws. So More realistic human like.
Raymond Swanland is one of my favourite MTG artists, so I wouldn't mind seeing more art from him, but I think his art-style is more well-suited to cards that are meant to have an epic feel to them.

What do you mean by "back to normal"?
How far back are we talking?

It was quite rude.
Canada matters too!
The Vorthos community will await the consequences of the Eldrazi Titans' deaths/sealing. We will keep the watch.

I suggest someone submit a very Canadian planeswalker into the survey for this reason.
