Masters 25 contains 249 cards. Exact distribution unknown, but based on Akroma's number, 39 per color seems most likely. Multicolor/artifact/land is just a rough guess that is likely to change.
Based on previous Masters sets, we're looking at: 23/101 commons 26/80 uncommons 53/53 rares (all done!) 15/15 mythics (all done!)
117/249 total

There aren't really enough multicolor spots to warrant common multicolor cards in the set. TBH there is probably more than 1 artifact before Chalice of the Void, but I'm not sure and 220 was a nice round number to cut off at.
I can’t imagine them making keyword room for delirium, so i’d say Flayer is unlikely.
Why can’t it be common?
Common is unlikely in a set dedicated to draft but without heavy multicolor theme. The same is true for uncommons but there is still a chance.
And I don't see a problem with Delirium since we already have named mechanics like Morph here. Grim Flayer is just a dream card in a set like this because it costs $8.
There is almost definitely going to be a cycle of 2-color uncommon signpost cards. I'd be surprised if there weren't. Also 20+ multicolor rares/mythics is way too much of the set's allocation of rares/mythics.

Morph has appeared in separate blocks. Those are the mechanics I expect to see in this set - things that they can draw on cards from 3-4-5 sets to fill out the theme, and get cards that never shared a draft environment into the same draft archetype. Not keywords that only appeared in a single two set block.
Ok weird question. Should we be listing the sets next to each card? I’m wondering because would it help knowing that we are getting one card from almost every set and from there we can deduce where we didn’t get a card from. I could be wrong about the card from every set thing though.

Two more sets with new cards that you've missed: Planechase 2012; Starter 1999.
(I have to wonder if they'll also include at least one of the cards that were originally promo-only, like how they made a point of including Giant Badger when they did this sort of thing previously back in 8th Edition.)
this name&number crunch it's going to be so much fun!knowing we are going to have one card per set it's giving us so much more room for speculation!

No offense, but I really hope Animar isn't in the set. A card that has protection from two different colors seems extremely unfun from a Limited perspective. At least Animar doesn't explicitly reference the command zone, so it's not the worst option.
Well one thing we know is whatever we get in Alara Reborn will be multicolored or artifact due to the block being no monocolored. Also we know commander is in but do we know if conspiracy is in for this yet?
The take-away, I guess, is that only one of those really good cards I mentioned can be in the set.
EDIT: #121 is hard to sleuth out too, although I'd be it ISN'T Balefire Dragon since there's no way they'd downshift it to rare, and I think it has the best chance of being Ball Lightning, Bedlam Reveler, Blaze, Banefire, or a random sliver.

The color-and-number-matching borders in this number crunch, so far, are just best-guesses. We don't actually know if 118 is black or red; hell, we don't actually know if 115 is black or red. There could be zero more red cards before Akroma, or possibly as many as 4-5. Don't assume there's one just because the first-cut guess at number ranges guessed that way. We don't know the ranges for sure until we see adjacently numbered spoiled cards in different colors.

I mean, yes and no. We know there should be the same number of cards for each color with maybe very mild variance, the options are:
39 cards per color (Akroma, Angel of Fury means it can't be 40 per color) or less than 39 cards per color, which seems less likely unless it has a heavy multicolor component concentrated at the beginning of the alphabet. There's a chance that 118 is red if there's a nonartifact colorless card in the set (like Karn), since that would come first, but there isn't as much wiggle room as you're implying.
So do Bridge and Chalice at Mythic rule out Karn/Ugin/Emrakul? or do artifact and regular colorless not take up the same slots
Historically, colorless and generic only cost nonland nonartifact cards get placed up front before white cards. Karn was #1 in NPH, Ugin was #1 in FRF.
(Oh, you're not talking about number crunching, you're on color balance at the mythic level, something they've really been loose on even in recent standard sets. Never mind me.).

Draft my cube! (630 cards)
Which card do you think belongs to the place between Gisela and Hanna? There are not so many options - multicolored, uncommon/rare/mythic.
Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer, Glare of Subdual, Glory of Warfare, Goblin Trenches, Grim Flayer, Gruul War Chant?
Why can’t it be common?
Draft my cube! (630 cards)
Common is unlikely in a set dedicated to draft but without heavy multicolor theme. The same is true for uncommons but there is still a chance.
