I'm sure we'll get used to the new logo sooner than we think, but right now it just makes me sad. It's just so sterile, and such a bad match for Dominaria, the throwback set.
What's the deal with that table/playmat with the five playing fields facing the center? New six-player Archenemy: Gatewatch vs. Some Villain coming up?

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.

I initially predicted that for every single core set moving forward, the featured planeswalkers will always be Gideon, Jace, Liliana, Chandra, and Nissa.
From what is revealed so far, I now predict that the featured planeswalker in the planeswalker deck is the iconic villain of that color.
I wonder what the white planeswaker deck will feature? What kind of White villain is there?
I still stand by the fact that these come in sets of 5, and each deck is 40 card decks, to justify the $10.99 price point.
Each core set 2019 planeswalker deck box contains 10 decks. I don't think the set will ever come with 6 or more decks. The set cannot have 3 or 4 deck, because they do not divide evenly into 10, and every single precon box has the same number of the same precon in a box, except special occasions such as Mirrodin Besieged. This leaves 5, 2, or 1 deck for 2016 core set. I predict 5 because for 2, they could have easily kept the same 6 decks per box, 2 kinds, 3 per kind. They already went from 10 intro packs to 2 Planeswalker decks. If they went from 2 Planeswalker decks to 1 Planeswalker deck, it would be the dumbest decision they have ever made. I highly doubt that core 2019 will have one kind of Planeswalker deck. Theme deck, Intro Pack, and Planeswalker deck displays always have up to 3 of one kind of deck in that display, and it is highly unlikely that there will be 10 of the same deck in a display, much less 5 of the same deck, so core 2019 will have 5 planeswalker decks that are 40 card decks.
So with the planeswalker decks, Chandra and Teferi are confirmed as planeswalkers in the set, right?
If we take the art on the booster packaging into consideration, and with Liliana and Gideon running around we could get the following list.
Chandra (maybe she really gets green, as shown on the intro deck, I don't think we would get two mono red walkers and with Jaya there to help here grow, who knows)
Teferi (blue)
Karn (colorless)
Jaya (red)
Liliana (black)

Fixed it.
Teferi has always ben azorius in the past the teferi in C14 was before he learned white

You’re right, it would also balance the colors out, if Chandra would gain green.

We're significantly pulling back on how often the Gatewatch will appear as planeswalker cards. It will still happen when the story calls for it, but far less often. For example, for all of 2017 and 2018, only a handful of planeswalker cards will be Gatewatch members, and that's including in Planeswalker Decks, where they'll appear slightly more often.
So with Jaya being on board I'm thinking Chandra will only appearere as a planeswalker deck walker and Jaya will be in the main set, so the set walkers will be (IMO) Liliana, Karn, Teferi and Jaya.

We've known that he'd be back for quite a while now. Same with Teferi.
We have, but the artwork shown on the booster pack would indicate that we will see a new Karn card for sure. The artwork with Teferi, Jhoira and Karn was for the box art apparently and not a card per se.

IF they give Teferi his spark back and I must stress on IF, I will be okay with them not giving Azor a spark. However I have doubts on Teferi being a 'Walker again.
So Teferi grew his spark back? Not that I'm complaining, but I thought regaining a spark was supposed to be next to impossible after the Mending?
Ob Nixilis got his spark "back", it was a different case with him, but if he can "recharge" his spark, maybe those who sacrified their sparks during time spiral can do the same.

If they're okay with giving away sparks, they should have given Azor his spark back as well.
WotC' storyline writers are human supremacists. They don't like to add non humans into the walkers party, even less non humanoid characters to the walkers list.
Teferi may not have actually lost his spark when he sealed the Zhivian rift. It'd be kinda a callback that he was rendered a NeoWalker and just didn't know for years, like what happened when he sparked the first time.
Is it just me, or has the product logo been very bland? New Phyrexia was the last time we got a logo with background, after that we have mere letters for logo. MtG at 25, I thought they would at least have a glorious logo to crown the achievement.
