Also known as Blitzer or Romanoff Blitzer. WIXOSS wiki admin.
Raptorchan: Finders, Keepers is technically a SNEAK card, though I take your meaning. My guess is that SNEAK is the primary user of the other main mechanic in the set.
I find it interesting how no single Agents of SNEAK card was spoiled yet.
Well, there's an entire mechanic, possibly equally represented in the set as contraptions, that they are not previewing until thursday.

This reminds me of other Pun name cards, maybe not the most out there design, by the name/art/flavor test combination makes it generic Un-set good stuff. Goofy but not a headache.

I don't know, I think i can give up on fun cards a little, so in return drafts are good experience that we can replay without getting bored. I don't hate it.
As bland as this is (especially considering the set it is in) functionally, I think cards like these are what is going to make all the difference in Limited games - it may be using the obvious-boring-structure of pretty much every set we have, but it's because the older un-sets were more or less void of it (disclaimer I have no experience at all, but even from just viewing the set, Unhinged limited felt like a too much huge mess of randomness that will get you tired of the format in one game, if not halfway through).
Although this card being entirely related to Contraptions as its crux does mean it's very likely that it can be Black-Border legal once they get Contraptions over, because its ability (gaining lifelink) around Contraptions is already a relevant (and very basic) one in Black-Border (even the common cards that just Assemble are less likely than this card because it's more likely the assembly mechanic itself gets revamped if Contraptions actually made it across).
Honestly I would have thrown in another check (If the Contraption has the Widget Watermark, gain Vigilance) so that it has firmer roots of staying in Silver-Border (Watermark-matters isn't going to happen in Black-Border realistically due to the sheer headache of reprints with back-checking in a game the size of MTG).
I'm usually not the one to do this but... Rare? This cat is easily uncommon. A strong uncommon but certainly a disappointing rare.
My gut tells me this card is actually secretly nuttity nuts in limited. Have you seen how many cards are artifacts/make contraptions so far?
This....the knight will become super huge in short order with all the contraptions and such floating around, and it doesn't look like there are a lot of Shock or Bolt variants to offset that, since this is a casual set. It's fine at Rare, a little disappointing if you want a chase rare, but that's the pack experience for you.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
Huh, I wonder if this set will have actual chase cards. Probably not? (Other than basics, haha)
For fans of silver, I imagine there will be one or two. The planeswalker (there's gotta be one) might. Spike and the pack opening card are high on my list right now.
I don't get "Jack"
Shouldn't it be like "Swiss Army Knight"?
Jack knife is another name for a pocket knife
Yes... but it's not a pocket knife, it's a multi-faceted tool, like a Swiss Army knife.
Swiss Army is a brand name particular to some jack knives. There are other jack knives, multi-year etc that are not Swiss Army brand. I think this is fine and using g the brand name may have been problematic.

It looks like one of those developers design it. Just added contraption to the text.
