Essentially, for those of you who cannot access Twitter; More creatures are being looked at to become Dinosaurs. This goes through a review process so it takes some time. Gnathosaur, Pteron Ghost and Regal Behemoth are specifically named.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
all 3 of those you listed are perfect selections. Lathnu Sailback is essentially a dimetrodon which, while not truly a dinosaur, is often thrown in with dinosaurs in general public

Awesome. Let's see if we can dig up other dinosaur looking beasties. Apparently Alara are off limits, probably to keep Ixalan and Naya seperate enough, but there are other planes to dig through.
Edit: Ashen Firebeast springs to mind. I don't think it would be wise to give dino's such a powerful Enrage enabler, but it is clearly a raptor.
All have names that would imply being given the Dinosaur type. The only one I could see not getting it is Fungosaur, though since that one only has it in oracle they could just get rid of lizard... Pygmy Allosaurus suddenly doesn't have errata anymore.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
It's not that Alara can't have Dinosaurs as much as that all the Behemoths (the big Beasts of Naya) are creatively designed to be mammals and hence don't fit the criteria to be Dinosaurs - they won't retcon some of them to suddenly be Dinosaurs when they previously consciously decided that Naya has only mammals - thinking of it even the Hydras of Naya were specifically mammalian Hydras: with fur and everything.
Dinosaurs can have feathers or scales in Magic, but if a creature has neither (and the Alaran Beasts being mammals have neither) there is really no point to making them Dinosaurs. Otherwise you might as well make Elephants Dinosaurs just because they are big - they have about as much reason to receive this errata as mammalian Beasts.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.
[thread=239793][Game] Level Up - Creature[/thread]
Changing the creature types of previously printed cards is a mistake. It will lead to bookkeeping at far too many a kitchen table.
"That's a dinosaur!" "No, a lizard." "Wizards changed it." "Do you have a smartphone?" "Where should I check?" etc.
As for the slippery slope: "This creature doesn't have flying? It's artwork depicts it as having flying." etc.
That's no different than a lot of creatures that have had updated creature types over the years, not just dinosaurs, and many haven't been reprinted with their new types.

Is "Do you have a smartphone?" really a question people ask? Seems like that would be the least of problems. Anyway, trust your friends, and friends should trust you. Why else would errataed creature X be IN a Dinosaur deck. I've never had to prove to anyone that Kaysa was an Elf OR a Druid.

Maybe that's your point but literally all of those are already on the Update List for XLN?
Well, except the Pyrosaur, and that looks nothing like a dino to begin with.

He said that one look too weird but I call that a bad excuse particually because fungusaur is weird looking.

It is no weirder than Magmasaur. It's a fire elemental dinosaur.
Edit: The reluctance may be because they have a reprint in the pipeline with different art. It would not surprise me in the least.

That's true they could be reprinting the weird looking ones to make them closer to dinosaur like.
Lol 8 mana is nothing by time you play this your opponents may have comboed and won 2-3 times, but clearly paying 10 to enrage all your dinosaurs is broken.
If your opponents have one 2-3 times by the time you get to 10 mana in commander, you've built your deck poorly.

If you have 2-3 dinosaur with enrage, Ashen firebeast and enough mana to activate it 2-3 times... well you are still aren't close to win the game, but your opponents surely should be, otherwise they have built their decks very poorly.
Doubtful. Even the fastest commander deck I've met would have trouble winning by turn 7 and 8, by which time you should have several large creatures in play if playing a Naya colored deck. They'll basically either be board wiping, or getting ready to face a beating.
