Great for enrage and works with Dino tribal since most of the Dinos seems to be higher on the p/t scale.

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
It certainly would be fun to summon the Rampaging Gladiodon, puts its etb trigger on the stack, then Coat with Venom in response. Since that isn't going to happen any time soon, though, I suppose I will have to be satisfied with letting the Soul-Scar Mage do its job.
I like it. But come on, I need more Dinosaurs that are good in a terrible Dinosaur Commander deck. I don't think 1 damage to each creature really cuts it in EDH.
It's a fantasy world. Stop asking for purely scientifically accurate dinosaurs. They are dinosaurs with designs inspired by reality with artistic creativity thrown in. Magic does this with every creature type - Tundra Wolves, Imperiosaur, etc.

we do have good stuff in the dinosaur deck.
This One you can activate every enrage dino you have on the field and this sweeps away the 1/1 tokens
And there's no forum on it but there's a Ankylosaurus dinosaur creature it's enrage is give all other creatures you control a +1/+1 counter permanently

Psst, there's a mechanic on the dinos called "enrage"...I'm sure a RGW+ deck that already runs Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite will like it too.
Mostly this is for limited, but I'm sure I can think of a few Johnny things for EDH. I object to "gladiodon" on linguistic grounds, though.

Card advantage is not the same thing as card draw. Something for 2B cannot be strictly worse than something for BBB or 3BB. If you're taking out Swords to Plowshares for Plummet, you're a fool. Stop doing these things!

Yeah, I know about Enrage, but is that mechanic on a few dinos really worth dedicating a deck slot to this card in an EDH deck? That's the question. If the dino general did something involving Enrage, that would make it a little more appealing. Then you could run with the theme, but we've basically seen all the rares/mythics and I'm not expecting many dinosaurs at common and uncommon that aren't unplayable limited fodder.

They design for Limited and Standard first and foremost, so it may not be good for Commander but, then again, it doesn't have to be because it does not need to be designed for that format.

Dude....... we just started spoiler season.
We don't even know how many are getting enrage yet.
Besides the deck definately doesn't have to be focused on enrage it may be ETB and Ramp and aggro by what I'm looking at.
And as for this role in edh you heard of weenie or token decks you could come up against right?
And maro did confirmed you could draft a dinosaur deck
That is one big theropod. Love how it's an Enrage enabler. At first I was like "It's RG, but doesn't have Enrage?" Then I was like "Oh, I see what you did there." Which of course means the RW card will likely be the one with Enrage, to mirror how the UR Pirate ended up with Raid.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

We've seen all the rares and mythics (except for the RW Planeswalker, I believe). 99% of a set's commons and uncommons are usually limited fodder. There will probably be a couple of cool ones still unspoiled, but usually the exciting stuff is at rare/mythic, so I'm not expecting much for Commander. Commander is all I really care about so that's what I'm basing my opinion on. I don't care about whether Enrage is draftable or good in draft, because I don't draft. And pinging the board for 1 doesn't do much in Commander, even against token decks, because they usually play a lot of anthem effects.

Ok but that's not a good reason too assume right now that it's not happening of gishath dinosaur tribal
Besides there's a couple more Dino's in that rare sheet not figured out yet like that mono red one near the top left and bottom right corner.
Two don't forget older cards will get the dinosaur type and we may get way more than we think.
Three rivals of ixalan will give more ammo for the deck in janurary
Before you say star of extinction kills them the flavor text reveals it being false
1# it's not a story highlight card
2# the flavor text revealed it's just a nightmare vision (bad dream vision) that this shaper phasona is having.
3# Jace is there I really doubt they would kill him there.
Basicly i'm still doing dinosaur tribal regardless of what we get in the first set.
Over the years we've seen a few 'creature type gains deathtouch' effects. Rats, Slivers, Skeletons+Zombies, Minotaurs, Wolves. Would be real nice to see such a thing for Dinosaurs.
We don't even know how many are getting enrage yet.
Well, you can't act like no rare/mythic dinosaurs with enrage is no big deal...
I really wanted to see a dinosaur with enrage: destroy target nonland permanent
True we are not going to get a enrage dino like that (but why dinosaurs don't destory their own homes.)
But a dino enrage with land destruction is liliana of the veil catergory strong and we gone over this millions of time we are not getting anything that power in standard sets no more.
But bare in mind rivals of ixalan should give us some better enrage rare/mythic Dino's (ps I'm sensing we are not getting a spinosaurus in this set because of gishath (the t-Rex) but maybe rivals of ixalan will give us one.)
Dinos and pirates are the theme of this set, with the way they've been designing it's not silly to look forward to a viable dino and viable pirates deck. Pirates have already been ramped into with previous sets so tier 1 pirates aggro is highly likely. The pieces are already looking pretty good. Don't want to ramp into dino? Go merfolk into dino finisher!

Rampaging Gladiodon 3RG
Creature - Dinosaur (Uncommon)
Trample
When Rampaging Gladiodon enters the battlefield, it deals one damage to each other creature.
5/5
Carnivorous dinosaurs developed an acquired taste for the undead, tracking vampires by the smell of blood on their breath.
"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Feel free to tell me yours!
Enrage enabler and token removal, plus it's a big 5/5 with trample
But one thing bugging me about this. Unless there was one discovered no dinosaurs in the dictionary of Dino's has frills
The frilled thing in Jurassic park is a mistake and fake.

Failing that, this does wipe field with Nightshade Peddler, Maze Abomination, or Archetype of Finality. Unfortunately taking down said enabler in the process.
What's this about no rare Dino with Enrage? Ripjaw Raptor is a rare Dino with Enrage.

A few other cards have enrage-like abilities.
Druid's Call, Broodhatch Nantoku, Hornet Nest, Rite of Passage, Spitemare, Stuffy Doll, Pious Warrior, Sprouting Phytohydra, Wall of Hope, Saber Ants, Kami of the Honored Dead, Illusory Ambusher, High Priest of Penance, Coalhauler Swine, Boros Reckoner
Not really enough for a deck right now.
On phasing:
Going by the filename, I'm pretty sure the real name of this card is "Raging Swordtooth".
