P3K reprint is still P3K reprint, even if it's not one many asked for...
That being said it's so ironic to preview this after the whole marketing hype established that the Gatewatch are going to get stomped plan or no plan (and they didn't even give this the chance to be a escape plan).

It's like Marketing didn't do any... er... strategic planning...
Well, on the lore side we've basically all known the Gatewatch was going to get their asses handed to them on a silver platter coming to this plane and the reality is that no logical and sane person would have tried to do what the gatewatch is attempting. They fought the eldrazi titans and should know how much effort it took to beat those things, and that was when the people on the plane were organized and fighting back as well. This place is a devastated wasteland with a hunger games based city and a curse reminiscent of freaking Dark Souls. Even if they did think they could take Bolas down before coming to the plane, this is the most forced encounter ever because they should have left the plane knowing they have no chance of winning.
There is one exception to this rule and that is if the gatewatch has never dealt with dragons before. If they haven't, then there is a slim, incredibly distant possibility that they underestimate how powerful a dragon with planeswalking power could be. But even in that situation, he decimated a plane and reworked it in his image. In dungeons and dragons I'd expect the decision making we are seeing to come from goblin tribes with leaders that have wisdom and intelligence scores in the 6-9 ranges. Speaking of which, I'd hate to see goblins try to fight bolas on this plane because we'd basically have the entire Warcraft 3 Lich King scenario play out again, as droves of goblins die, then reanimate as goblin zombies. For some reason, goblins are scarier zombies than normal ones due to disease and rot it seems (i.e. Festering Goblin)
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Really, once you have access to mind magic there shouldn't be counterarguments anymore.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Has any reprint in Magic's history ever caused a version of a card to be available for less than 0.1% of what was at one time market price for that same-named card?
It was used in Vintage for a time after brainstorm and thirst for knowledge got restricted. It was used in Slaver lists as a replacement for thirst. When the deck put up some results I remembering it SP shooting up to around $30 or so from like $2. This was also very ealy on in the buy out era of magic.
