Hazoret's Undying Fury just got better. Exile this and three other cards, sweep first, then cast the other nonland cards. Your lands not untapping next turn probably won't matter at that point.
Good card is good. Wipe creatures and PW, nice touch both play-wise and flavor-wise.
I like that we got multiple cards that finally feature Bolas front and center in the art. (We had enough complaints about him not showing up early on...)
The art is nicely dark.
I only wish it had a can't-be-countered clause or at the very least a damage-cannot-be-prevented clause. It's Bolas, the burn should be badass.
PS: the flavor text should have been: "Hey! That's my shtick!" - Chandra
Wow. This wrath alone makes me want to buy this set. I don't even care about the creature part, which is still huge. It's the "remove indestructible" and planeswalker part that has me drooling. Finally a way to not get hosed by the Gideon's of the world. And no, shock doesn't do enough for the "red gets tons of awesome burn" people who pretend red in standard hasn't been a splash only color for too long a time. Atarka red was it, and it needed to splash green to even have a chance. This finally opens the door for the Big Red they have been desperately trying to push and failing so miserably at. Great card
Anyway. Wow, Hour of Devastation puts cards like Earthquake over its knee and gives it/them a spankin'. And there's nothing they can do about it either. The loss of indestructible is huge. Pro-red cards, though, are laughing all the way to the mana bank (pool?).

Yea, I do. So the person was not entirely lying. Their source was not completely accurate though lol. Makes me wonder if it was something that leaked before the design was finalized. I could see the switch to red.
I'm a little surprised Bolas knows their group's title.
Uh, didn't Dovin know it way back in Kaladesh when he tried to recruit them before the story began? The Gatewatch literally marketed themselves across the multiverse.
Interesting wrath card. I like how it makes all creatures loose indestructible before hosing the field and leaving the bigger beasts to spot clean up. That seems fair. I want to see more "loses indestructible" cards from WotC.
edit: already beaten to this answer by a ton of others, so I'll just say that this is the first card I actually want from the set. Weak set overall though.
Is this the best mana to damage ratio for a red sweeper since Blasphemous Act?
That seems fair. I want to see more "loses indestructible" cards from WotC.
100% agree. I am very jazzed they gave this to red and not black.
Especially considering black has it's own flavor for hosing Indestructible, -1/-1 counters.
The longer I play this game, the more I really do appreciate little things like this. Very fine mechanical divisions that separate colors that do similar things; just in a different way. Helps keep colors distinct when there is so much bleed elsewhere. (Monowhite Zombies and Vampires, anyone? )
Drop one word from that card's flavor text and it's awesome instead of cheesy. What a shame. Great card though.
Agreed, they messed up a few cards with bad flavour text this set, this one could have been classic like Countersquall...oh well, here's hoping for the reprint.
Now obviously somebody must make a WUBRG Hours deck.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Nope, Conflux.

With a little ramping, get to 8 mana then Insult // Injury followed by Hour of Devastation just because. Perhaps those forgotton Vessels of Volatility will have some legitimate use.
Coincidentally, also depicts Bolas.

Time Spiral, Planar Chaos and Future Sight are all card names but weren't included in the block.
Thanx m8
