Jace, the Mind Sculpter and Azusa are confirmed reprints. Jace with OG art and Azusa with her promo art. There was an ad during the PT that showed off the packaging and top 3 packs. The 3rd pack of the set seems to be a robot. My speculation is that it is the original Karn, not PW, or it is a Steel Overseer. It will be new art of whatever the creature is.
People are speculating it's Blightsteel or Darksteel Colossus, but the creature is too light compared to those two.

I seriously doubt it's Karn - he's a major named character with a very specific visual design. I'm more inclined to believe the people saying its Platinum Empereon.
At 249 Cards.... once you remove the 15 lands - its almost EXACTLY 3 cards per non-supplemental, non-reprint only, set. By my count, there's 88 sets with unique cards, and that averages to 2.95 cards per set.

I like the Judge promo Azusa and cheaper copies makes me super glad that I didn't bite on the that came into my LGS. And a Karn reprint would be tight.
Do they have the full rights to those? I recall that deals with artists in the beginning were handled differently and that could be a stumbling stone to such simple ambitions.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Just joking, there aren't any basic lands in Masters sets.
The art lacks the "Darksteel orbitals", so it's not going to be Blightsteel Colossus, and the joints don't have the arcs of electricity that give the Arcbound creatures their name, so it's not going to be Ravager.
I feel pretty sure we will see Hedron Crab in the set. Azusa would fit well into a landfall strategy, and two blocks already deal with landfall in a sense.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

Playing since 1994: Currently MAGS (HomeBrew),Standard & Pauper (Pioneer and Modern are degenerate trash formats)
STOP using "dude/bro" as a pejorative or insult. Grow up.
Margaret Thatcher: “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.”
Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I'm going to be very happy if we get Fireblast again. That was one amazing card to use in burn.

As far as confirmed reprints I'm not exactly impressed, though. So far we got Phyrexian Obliterator, which is an okay card that has some demand behind it, Jace, The Mind Sculptor, which is probably the big "face" card of the set just like he was in eternal masters, and Azusa, Lost but Seeking, that only holds her price tag due to lack of printings.
WoTC can't just throw expensive cards in the set. They have to base their inclusions on both price and how much play the cards see. If they don't do this we will end up with another Iconic Masters or Eternal Masters. We already saw what happened when Horizon Canopy got reprinted and at this point it seems obvious WoTC has no idea what cards actually have demand and not just scarcity pumping the price. It's like they got people with zero knowledge of the game and what gets played making the financial decisions on sets.

This is kinda scary, but feels correct. I mean, no brainer printing would be the Urzatron, which still see play in Modern and casual play. YOu likely cannot reprint Strip Mine (especially if Crucible gets a reprint), but you can print Triskelion. Of course all the rares can't have $ value, but they should definitely use this occasion to pump down prices on some cards that have printing-related scarcity. Downgrade some crap rares/uncommons to Common for the Pauper crowd and you'll be more than good to go.
As a little aside though, it is kind of annoying that we got the booster art, Obliterator and...nothing. I'd have appreciated a card per week until spoilers start in earnest, instead of just a one card tease then radio silence. Spoiling cards is something they should have down pat by now, but they are still askew here.

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
Others have talked about it elsewhere, but wizards has a very bad concept of card equity and they've been going down hill since Magic Origins and the clash pack. They've basically taken to using the secondary market to determine what cards should go in what products and these products must be at least a certain percentage of the total value of the cards included, regardless of the reasons behind the cards actual monetary value. I'd say the actual collectors value on most cards printed today is a lot lower than it was on older cards, so the complaints that reprinting something that is heavily played like Snapcaster Mage is harming it's collectors value is not necessarily true. The real reason many of the modern cards have such high price tags is the sheer demand for the card, and it should be Wizards goal to push those prices back down to a level that people can actually afford.
Personally, I think wizards just got addicted to the money. They started this entire thing because a vocal crowd of people wanted to play with the cards they missed from past sets, created modern masters, and then saw how much money they could make from it so they just kept doing it. Afterwards, they pulled the high dollar cards from all the other products and used those cards to keep propelling their money making blob monster. This left us with tons of dead products from yesteryear on the shelves of walmarts and targets due to MSRPs that didn't justify the contents and a repacks industry that is now gone to the point of selling land packs and deck builders toolkit contents in cheap plastic cases, along with repacked booster pack products like the mystery box.

Modern Masters 2017 had 101 commons, 80 uncommons, 53 rares, 15 mythic rares. Let's assume WotC tries s to get as close to these numbers as possible.
1 Common from each set. Thats 88 Commons.
1 Uncommon from each set. Thats 88 Uncommons.
1 Rare/Mythic from every set that is not on the Reserved List (which has 19 sets). So that's 69 Rares/Mythics.
Splash in 4 more commons from the reserved list sets. Down grade 8 Uncommons to Commons.
You now have 100 Commons, 80 Uncommons and 69 Rares/Mythics.
By the way wizards just went ahead and put the two cards on the site
But you guys may get a heart attack but Aruza she has her original water mark I'm talking the "kamigawa" watermark on the official card
And the robot I can bet it's one of these

With that said my final answer is platinum Emperion
The color is right
The body is right
But it could still be steel overseer though.

It's probably going to drop all the way down to the ~$10 zone
Demand is practically dead for that dude
The real reason for the $36 price tag is almost exactly the same reason why Azusa is $45
Lack of printings
