Add some counters and blockers and you're pretty much good to go.
The tricolor manabase could be trickier than most people here are assuming, though.
I'd be tempted to play this if I weren't convinced everyone else would be doing the same.
Honestly the Saheeli + Felidar combo is so robust and hard to disrupt (pre-sideboard at least) that I probably wouldn't bother with the Crackdown. Sure your deck is probably running Fumarole x4 anyways, but Crackdown is a 2/2 for 4 with no protection or evasion. Better to dedicate those slots to various removal spells and draw spells, or to cards that are naturally good with Saheeli/Felidar like Whirler Virtuoso, Thraben Inspector, Spire Patrol, Filigree Familiar, and Torrential Gearhulk.

Saheeli Rai combo is pretty terrifying, especially since UW and UR Control are not bad archetypes to begin with and all the pieces are individually solid. I can't imagine we're not going to see Saheeli, Felidar, or both banned at some point in the next few months. I'm sure this isn't even an optimized list, but:
I love all the artifact-friendly goodies red got this block. Embraal Gear-Smasher could prove to be a good team with Reckless Fireweaver. And then Pia's Revolution on top of them...one Ornithopter could cost an opponent 6 life: 1 for entering, 2 for being sacced, and 3 to make sure it doesn't come back. And that's without all the other damage-dealing goodies in this block, like Aethertorch Renegade, Quicksmith Rebel and Consulate Turret. And the other colors got some good stuff too.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Saheeli Rai jumped from $5 to $25 yesterday but this morning she has fallen slightly to $23, indications that people are still hype-buying and the market is taking advantage of the situation as one would expect. I joked at FNM last night that I would gladly sell mine for $15...but no one took me up on the offer.
I find it funny to find so many comments pointing out stuff like Fog effects and Jace Scrutiny when Exarch-Twin was removed from Modern, which has exponentially better answers than those, not to mention much faster proactive decks.
Dispels out of the Saheeli Deck stops most of the answers on track, for the lowest ammount of mana possible. The best answer to the combo is the enchantment that kismets and gain you 1 life when an opponent's creature ETB, but Fragmentize is a 1-mana, on-color answer to that, too.
Saheeli-Felidar is going to be a real Standard deck that will only be stopped by good decks that do equal - or better - things and play the best answers of the bunch, not those Limited fillers.

Exarch-Twin is mutch diferent for one good reason, Exarch had flash and the threat of it held down other decks. The threat was the most important thing on the deck meaning that the opponent couldnt dump his hand and be tapped out so he/she had alot of turns been defensive and cautious while SPlinter Twin would happilly draw out the game.
The Sahelli combo has potential sure but its no Splinter Twin

That's a downside compared to twin that makes the deck harder to break into control decks, but the Saheeli combo gains a few positives in the tradeoff. First of all, it relies on a planeswalker instead of an aura, which means a disruption of the combo won't 2 for 1 you. If you can protect the planeswalker well enough, you can even use the same card to try and combo off with your second Felidar. Secondly, unlike twin, modern decks that use the combo don't have to worry about getting past the likes of Spellskite. Finally, Saheeli is far more flexible as one half of the combo than Splinter Twin. She pings your opponent and scries even when not going off, and you can supplement your deck with other copy targets and combos.
I know they're similar,
but the latter is far more Red than Green.
TBH, it feels like it should be GR.
Green has always had spells that deal damage directly to creatures (although, almost always flying creatures): windstorm, aerial volley, skyreaping, take down, etc.
I don't think dealing damage to creatures based on your creatures' power is outside green's color pie at all.
Aether Revolt seems like the strongest new set since... Well since what exactly? It goes a long way back, I think.
The set is comparable to New Phyrexia in sheer value at the uncommon and common level. The rare cycle of legendary creatures along with their expertise cards are also very strong, and I'd say the mythics are the most underwhelming of the entire set. Thanks to how the value is spread across the cards and the uncertainty of the future, though, preorder prices are extremely suspect. Cards like Baral, Chief of Compliance is extremely hyped right now and is being priced at the level of a mythic even though the set is going to get opened like mad. Smuggler's copter is an exception to the rule because it became the most prolific card of last standard, but otherwise every other rare did not hold their price in the long run. Right now the only cards worth it to probably grab are Fatal Push, Disallow, Heart of Kiran due to being mythic and potentially seeing play in artifact mid range that is coming soon, and Herald of Anguish which is being severely overlooked. I feel like when the Aether Revolt Pro Tour happens it's going to be popcorn season on TCGPlayer. The roller coaster is going to be amazing to watch.
The above is assuming we are talking monetary value, though. Gameplay value almost all of the cards are strait up hits in this set and they even stuffed in proliferate somehow without the actual keyword.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
I hope Baral can do some work for blue permission decks in Modern, because that format really needs some more universal answers to the linear combo builds. (I dislike playing blue outside Commander, and dislike playing against blue everywhere, but regardless of my feelings I think the format at large would be healthier, with a happier player base.)
We also have Jace's Scrutiny in response to the first trigger--it won't stop the combo but what is the point of infinite 0/4 Felidar Guardians?
I'd like to remind people that this is not Hearthstone. Copy effects copy only what is printed on the card, as modified by other copy effects. No other static effects, such as P/T changing or ability granting, will be copied.
...Am I the only one excited about the potential return of Mono Green Stompy?
Greenpelt Rampager (and fetchlands) activate a number of other cards quite efficiently, including Greenbelt Liberator, narnam renegage, and hidden herbalist ('cause even a weak burning tree emissary is worth exploring). Longtusk Cub synergizes with the rampager and contributs to the +1/+1 counter theme. While a bit higher in cost, Bristling Hydra also marries energy with counters (and protects himself) and Verdurous Gearhulk is awesome. With the heavy +1/+1 counter theme in this block, Maulfist Revolutionaries can pump things up bigger and armorcraft judges could easily replenish your entire hand.
Even kill isn't too worrying, seeing how you have both Heroic Intervention AND Blossoming Defense.
...Okay, yeah. I know that it won't work. Even so, this is the MOST exciting that things have looked in a while.
On the comment of mono-green stompy: No, no you are not. I like my stompy.

Nothing hoses the combo. The best you can do with that is tap all the copies down so you MAY get in for lethal before he just says die. That's assuming he doesn't have Reckless Fireweaver and just infinitely blows you out of the water anyway from 1 billion damage. I'm saying it now: Trade the heck out of Saheeli Rai if you don't want to get hosed by the ban announcement. There's no way this was designed intentionally.

But everything you just said does in fact get stopped by Authority of the Consuls.
The copies only last a turn, so tapping them stops them, and Reckless Fireweaver is counteracted by the life gain.
The set is ok but way too parasitic for my tastes. Lots of cards that reference energy that will be worthless past rotation.
At least arcane sounded cool.
Also zero playable mana acceleration. Where are the mana rocks? Is rampant growth and Kodamas reach now mythic level powerful?
It doesn't stop it with reckless fireweaver. They don't need to be untapped.

It does infact stop Reckless Fireweaver because of its life gain effect. Doesnt stop two, or a paradox engine + Fireweaver (but two Authority of the Consuls does), and it doesnt do anything verse the other infinite combo.
Oh, shoot I forgot that it gets you life when something comes into play. Well, that's at least something to stop the combo from completely annihilating everything. The only issue is that there's so many ways they can abuse infinite creatures entering the battlefield from simply ETB triggers at the moment. We'll just have to wait and see what happens, I guess. I'm not too keen on having anything like splinter twin in standard at all since there's going to be something coming out of this that is going to break something.

Its not going to be remotely as good as Twin. Just because you have a 2 card engine, doesnt mean the rest of the format has a card base that can support that engine. I've played the hell out of Twin and anything that people have said 'its like Twin!' and trust me, they are not.
UR Twin was a product of its format and the elegance of UR. URW without shocks and without other mana fixing? With multiple ways to stop the combo and lack of good counters?
Its not Twin, not even close.
I mean 1 card stops this, and it doesnt even have to be the Enchantment -> Shock.

We also have Jace's Scrutiny in response to the first trigger--it won't stop the combo but what is the point of infinite 0/4 Felidar Guardians? Maybe Warping Wail in response to the first trigger, meaning the target she was going to copy no longer exists. The same goes for Murder, Harnessed Lightning with 4 energy, Lightning Axe, Stasis Snare, Moonlight Hunt with power >= 4, Titan's Presence with power >= 1, and so on and so forth. If you are on the play or they miss building their combo for one turn you can Lost Legacy for Saheeli Rai or Pick the Brain the one in hand or Harsh Scrutiny the Felidar Guardian. This is why no one will ban anything--there are already plenty of answers available in a variety of colors.
