Its not going to be remotely as good as Twin. Just because you have a 2 card engine, doesnt mean the rest of the format has a card base that can support that engine. I've played the hell out of Twin and anything that people have said 'its like Twin!' and trust me, they are not.
UR Twin was a product of its format and the elegance of UR. URW without shocks and without other mana fixing? With multiple ways to stop the combo and lack of good counters?
Its not Twin, not even close.
I mean 1 card stops this, and it doesnt even have to be the Enchantment -> Shock.
Oh no, it is Twin. It's just Twin in Standard, which is a very different animal. There are also a million different ways to answer Twin in Modern (uh...Abrupt Decay, anyone??), but the deck was designed to out tempo the opponent until it could safely achieve the combo.
I would even say that the Saheeli Rai + Felidar Guardian is more resilient than Twin since it is very difficult to 2-for-1 the Saheeli Rai + Felidar Combo. And Jeskai is the perfect combination of colors to out tempo the opponent to safely land the combo. The problem is that only white of the three can reliably deal with enchantments, and there are only three such cards in Standard at the moment (Fragmentize, Felidar Cub, and Collective Effort -- though Fragmentize is an incredibly efficient option).
The biggest thing holding back the deck is that it is three colors, but honestly, it's not that big of a drawback. After all, it's combo control; control decks have plenty of ways to fix mana. The deck will be a thing, but it won't be oppressive such that a ban will be needed.
I completely forgot about Brutal Expulsion--it will bounce the Guardian back to your opponent's hand as well as deal 2 damage directly to Saheeli Rai. Or To the Slaughter--even without delirium they will have to choose either the cat or the planeswalker to sacrifice.
Obviously, the probability of encountering this deck idea in Limited is so small that we may discount it as being 0. In the upcoming Standard there will definitely be people trying to use it but because so many answers for it exist I am uncertain what kind of future it has. Aetherworks Marvel was everywhere for the first two weeks of Kaladesh, then it mostly disappeared, made a comeback, but has now died down again.

As low as the odds are of this combo appearing in limited, especially in draft since you'd have to pick the felidars before getting a Saheeli within the first couple of picks in pack 3, I wouldn't say 0. It's a mythic and an uncommon, not Brisela. I'm pretty sure a fair number of shops will have stories about how someone used the combo at the prerelease.
I dont like this set, cause it feels like a draft set. The uncommons are very good in this set, which i like, but the rares and mythics are crap and thats usually what makes me excited about opening a booster. Besides the weak rares and mythics, it is also that this set is much more focusing on just synergizing with the set/block but not really with other blocks, which means the amount of cards, you will play in decks that do not consist 70% of the block is very low.
I think I wont buy any booster of this edition, since it is not worth it, cardwise and especially not moneywise. Right now the only card I really want is Fatal Push. So 1 out of 184 cards interests me... not well done wizards, sorry.
So much "cascade" and "proliferate" in this set, which opens up so many combos in Modern and casual! The Expertise cycle seems extremely powerful. That counterspell looks monstrous.
Seriously, what were you expecting, Modern Masters?

Breaking news: Sets are designed primarily for Limited, not for Constructed. If you do not accept this premise, you are in for a constant disappointment ;-)

Also zero playable mana acceleration. Where are the mana rocks? Is rampant growth and Kodamas reach now mythic level powerful?
Between Improvise, free spells, green mana dorks and a second resource in energy you feel like we need more acceleration?
Improvise: playing bad cheap artifacts is not ramp
Free spells: not applicable to standard. I don't play modern
Green mana dorks: I saw one that is terrible
Energy: nothing to do with mana for spells. Narrow parasitic gimic
The era of the 1-drop mana dork without extreme limitations on mana use is over. You're not going to see better than a 2-drop, be it a 2/1, 2/2, 1/2, or 1/3.

I'm just glad Tezzeret is turning out better than people thought he was going to turn out. His abilities make a lot more sense now that we see the entire aether revolt set and UBx control looks like it can be a thing for people who don't like combo. America combo is going to be a pain in the rear to deal with, though, as they can fit not one, but potentially two or three infinite combos in those colors thanks to some of the rares in Aether Revolt. What I find ironic, though, is that they want decks in standard to be more about planeswalkers when they didn't print a whole lot of good walkers in kaladesh. Ugin, the spirit dragon and Karn Liberated are both game ending high cost walkers, but the most game ending walker we got this season has been Sorin, Grim Nemesis and Ajani Unyielding? At least with Tezzeret the schemer we get high loyalty and a very synergistic +1 ability. What I find funny is that I like Tezz better than the supposedly more powerful Chandra, Torch of Defiance. The curse of chandra seems to be in full swing still.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
