Walking Ballista - XX
Artifact Creature - Construct
Walking Ballista enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters.
{4}: Put a +1/+1 counter on Walking Ballista
Remove a +1/+1 counter from Walking Ballista: Walking Ballista deals 1 damage to target creature or player.

I do like that for being a riff on Triskelion, it actually cannot go infinite with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed in the way Triskelion can.
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
Oooh, scaling Triskellion. This could end up being really spicy in ramp decks in Standard (if they pop up). Obviously this won't see Modern play in Affinity due to the XX cost, but this is a rare with real potential.
The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.

You play it on X=1, sacrifice everything else to (and including) Arcbound Ravager and start shooting. I can see this. But I also do not play Modern.
edit: Maybe as sideboard plan against Ghostly Prison and similar stuff?
Extra card for mikaeus, the unhallowed infinite combo deck. Even a "cheaper" version for that deck (just 2 mana enables the infinite combo).
Oh wow, I didn't realize it at all that the car ends up being literally Trisk for only 2 mana instead of 6. Looks like that EDH deck of mine will have 2 infinite combo enablers now!
Enduring Renewal really likes all the creatures that have been printed in recent years that can cost no mana and die right away. I've already bumped the Panda Express thread for discussion now that it has access to a second playset of Hangarback Walkers (being able to replace Endless Ones allows some different angles, like using artifact-specific enablers).
This card seems crazy. Trike's biggest weaknesses are costing 6 mana and having to spend 1 damage to kill itself when comboing. This gains fetchability with Trinket Mage and can be bigger in the late game when you need it more as a finisher than control. On top of all that, there's a gravy ability of making it bigger later if you do play it early on as a deterrent. My Experiment Kraj deck just got its new favorite toy.

Not as much as you think. If this dies, Mike will bring it back, but it will be a 1/1 with a +1/+1 counter on it. You use up that counter and...then either you shot your own dude for another loop around, or an opponent's creature for 1 and your ballista is still alive. Unless you have a sac outlet or a Blood Artist type of effect around, this + Mike does not give you an instant win.

Wouldn't you need a third card for this to do any infinite combo fun with Mikeaus?
As if it dies with Mikeaus out, then it returns with just one +1/+1 counter. Which you then have to remove to target itself (as it is still a 1/1, due to getting a static +1/+1 from Mikeaus). So you can keep killing itself over and over again, but need something else to do something, right?
Unless I'm missing something.
I do like that for being a riff on Triskelion, it actually cannot go infinite with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed in the way Triskelion can.
It not only CAN go infinite with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed but you can play it for 0 and still have it go infinite. You had to jump a little hoop to go infinite with Triskelion, you had to use the last counter to kill the Triskelion, as it was a 1/1, while this guy can just blow all his counters murdering things and as long as he's got undying he'll keep coming back for more. ((Oh, wait, forgot about the Mikaeus +1/+1 boost. With Trisk you have to use two counters to kill himself. You need to give him -1/-1 somehow to get this to work, perhaps with Heartless Summoning Then you can combo off on T4, which isn't bad, I suppose?))

Mikaeus gives it a base +1/+1. It can only kill itself repeatedly, but any other sac outlet or ETB/Dies trigger will make it go infinite.

Just reminded me by accident to replace my endless one in my colorless edh with this.

Sure it does As others have pointed out, if that translation is correct, EDH now has a 2 mana Trike for infinite shenanigans that also provides a wincon for decks generating infinite mana. The combo elements of this block are everywhere.
There also seems to be a +1/+1 counters theme brewing in the set. Between this, fabricate cards, modules, the snake and the Thrumming Tern we got earlier, there could be some fun/janky sultai +1/+1 counters deck to find.
edit: oops, as Blazing Ragnarok points out below me, I needed to RTFC re: Mikaeus, the Unhallowed. Can still do some shenanigans with this guy, but it takes more work and another setup card such as the new Metallic Mimic or Hardened Scales. This makes him a snap add to my Ghave, Guru of Spores deck, but he isn't quite the freeroll that I first assumed, my mistake.

Only if you have a Heartless Summoning or something similar out. For some reason, people keep forgetting that Mikaeus is a classic lord, too.

That or a Sac outlet but I edited my post, I really forgot the +1/+1 to everything. Might even try assembling a deck with that combo now, it doesn't seem too bad. Similar to Melira in card requirement, but with less of a color strain, as everything you need is either black or colorless, and if you don't have the Summons you can go off with Viscera Seer or similar, and Viscera and Mikaeus even let you use Murderous Redcap to close off the combo.
This seems really good. It's not Hangarback Walker, and you're simply not going to be growing it each turn, but it doesn't tap to put a +1/+1 on it. It's:
A) A mana dump for long games.
B) A way to trigger Revolt (you can also play it for 0).
C) A 1/1 for 4 that pings for 1 when it enters the battlefield (Take that Selfless Spirit).
D) A creature with an ability that reads: "4: Deal 1 damage to target creature or player".
E) If they kill it, simply burn them for X or kill one or more of their creatures. You can also fizzle their Harnessed Lightning so they won't get energy.
F) Or play it as a sorcery with XX: Deal X damage to a creature or player.
This is going to be great in limited and will probably see at least some standard play. I recommend ordering a playset if the price is not too high.

I like it! Any x dudes I can find with Trinket mage are ok in my book
EDIT: forgot about triskelion somehow. I figured there was something close to this effect already

Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
Doomsdayin'
Congratulation wizards you faced the music and accidently made a cheaper and better triskelion

No, Chief is a static ability so it's applied before state-based actions get checked?
