Wow, for 5 mana he is certainly efficient. I'd gladly pay this much mana for an enchantment that did the same thing. He seems decent paired with tymna for a B/W Aggro/Control deck featuring recursion, creature buffing and card draw.
So in the space of a year, we've gone from having zero BW legendary Clerics to three: Ayli, Tymna, and Ravos. So that's a thing.
Ravos actually pairs pretty well with Tana: a built-in anthem to give her a better shot at trampling through, and of generating more Saprolings when she does so, and then that anthem buffs the newly-produced tokens in turn. Also goes well with Bruse Tarl - because anthem effects and double strike.
Honestly, though, Ravos seems pretty solid in his own right, Partners be damned. That's two solidly useful effects in one package.

Funny thing is that Ravos uses the Partner mechanic better than many of the other Legends in Commander. He works around complementing the abilities of the other Commander in the pair rather than just being a sub-par standalone ability. Really, I think he can't be truly evaluated singularly, and rather would be better evaluated as a tag team.

For what he does he appears to be worth it, Flying and an Anthem (we saw this plus poltential other stuff in Kaladesh being roughly the same). He can make up the value in any deck with sacrificing and other stuff like that. Actually pretty good and he can be partnered as a bonus.
Why are there so many theros cards in this product? It's like they want us to like theros or something...
This, seriously. I was hoping for some new Kamigawa or Lorwyn legends, but instead we get like 4 new Theros commanders... Theros is so boring for the most part...

I find it odd that Theros has remained so popular when it had many of the same problems that wracked Kamigawa, and even a somewhat similar story at face value.

Yes, that sucks. We could have more legends from New Phyrexia, more old characters from Dominaria, Lorwyn, but we get at least four legends from stupid Theros instead.

I am a fan of theros so having plenty of cards set on Theros is great for me.
as for Ravos, I like him, not sure if he has a place in my orzhov deck though but I shall see.
Well, I do like Theros, it is one of my favorite blocks.
I'm glad they are giving me more Theros arsenal for my Theros themed decks.

As for the card, seems kinda fragile for a 5 drop, but if you can keep it around, it has two sweet effects.
