If only they were going to print a card that would allow you to add White to your Sultai Superfriends deck. It would be even better if it played well with Superfriends. Oh well.
It's quite strong, but on the other hand unless you can afford both the same turn, your pw has to survive a go around the table before you can ult. And survive with plenty of counters. And unless you're playing superfriends AND blink it'll usually be single-shot. So it's not quite as gross as doubling season imo. Still pretty gross though.

But biggest reason for budget
Does not double tokens. Nor when you activate a ability doubles the amount of counter when used (like Walker abilitys.)
This having atvantage is because you can do it multiple times if you have a way to abuse enter the battlefield.

DS doesn't double the loyalty counters a PW gains from using + abilities,
as the counters are a cost and not an effect.

The turn you play DS is usually do-nothing,
and it is frequently removed before you can do anything with it.
The turn you play this, however, should be anything but do-nothing.
And if you have 10+ mana, they essentially work the same with planeswalkers.
I've been wanting a counterpart for Parallel Lives,
and I am not dissapoint.
This will probably be the most expensive non-legendary card in the set.
