This type efefct would be better on a less fragil creature or another type of permanent
The issue is that if you put this on an enchantment, red and black basically die to it (similar to Assemble the Legion). While that might not happen in a cutthroat meta, the effect could be overwhelming in the casual groups these decks are aimed at.
On the list of "enchantments that are unfair to play against red and black," one that makes them attack each turn or deals them damage seems comically low.
2 toughness really kills this thing when it wants to stick around several turns for its ability to become truly painful. Still, I love the mechanic! This has got to be in the aggro deck. *Possibly* in the chaos deck. Makes absolutely no sense in the group hug deck.
Similar to Assemble, it deals progressively higher damage on a permanent type that they cannot remove. Making it hard or bad to attack isn't difficult.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

So why bother even making this forgetable then? Making weak red cards like these are waste, even in casual.
Exactly. At this point, just reprint the solid cards from previous commander decks, and use new card space to finish cycles of common/uncommon land cycles, or even create a new cycle. I keep hearing of a cycle of shock style lands that always enter the battlefield tapped. The new cards from commander decks are mostly weak cards that not even casual players will keep in their decks, and some of those cards are the commanders themselves.
You guys are super out of touch with the commander community as a whole, after over a year working at my LGS, I can assure you we are the minority. Anyone reading this post is the minority in the commander community. The VAST majority of players come in buy 1-2 precons and $0-20 in singles (this is where our upscale skills come in handy), a good third opt to not buy sleeves playing the deck "as it is".
If someone comes into your LGS to play magic, they are at the hardcore end of the spectrum. That's right, those guys who come in for their first draft and the ones who can't quite wrap their head around what Standard is, they are your hardcore Magic players. Your casual Magic players have no idea game stores even exist, let alone set foot in one.
The MAJORITY of the people who buy this precon are likely to never alter a card, they probably will play literally at the kitchen table with a their partner (couples were probably our biggest demographic for commander precons) and a couple of friends, with their deck unsleeved and they are going to think this card is the absolute nuts. The red players will love it and the rest will think it's OP.
Just the motivation I needed for people to attack with their Lighting Ragers. Yeah, there is Fumiko the Lowblood, but there's no guarantee you'll draw her every game.
This effect is just what my Ryusei deck wanted (Attack, or burn - either way, the deck's purpose is to end the game quickly). Shame it isn't an enchantment (and therefore vulnerable to Ryusei himself, although that can be mitigated) or even better, an artifact (since I run some artifact recycling for sustainability).

If you're successfully stopping BR from attacking then you've already won.

Check out the thread for my cube if you have the time, and tell me how terrible it is.
Generals meant to be drafted first in a single pack of 6 cards.
And here is the actual cube, meant to be drafted in 4 regular sized packs. (60 card decks)
