Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.

Sanctifier of Souls might see play in my Oyobi deck as another SPirit maker. Accumulated Knowledge clone up there as well?

The "Crazy One", playing casual magic and occasionally dipping his toes into regular play since 1994.
Currently focusing on Pre-Modern (Mono-Black Discard Control) and Modern (Azorious Control, Temur Rhinos).
Find me at the Wizard's Tower in Ottawa every second Saturday afternoons.
that White two drop seems really good, Eldrazi Fish, Zombies seem okay, that wolf is interesting its like a take on an older black flier. so were having another burst cycle.
The intro pack rares aren't that bad this time around, all of them might see some sort of use somewhere, rather than being almost completely useless, although the red one drew the short straw.
Galvanic Bombardment would be a stupid card if it went to the face. It'd be an immediate 4 of in burn where the third and fourth copy are better than Lightning Bolt.
Take Inventory is still fine as a sorcery. I would have certainly preferred a straight up AK reprint, but this is still pretty damn good.
Take Inventory and Galvanic Bombardment effects are both deserve to be a new mechanic.
As huge Timmy player, I will be glad to open Assembled Alphas in limited (and lose it to removal, of course), but I am pretty sure that those five rares are bulk rares, as usual. Maybe Niblis will see some play, though.
Just reprinting Accumulated Knowledge would have been super sweet, but I will say I'm happy to see that effect. I definitely love Galvanic Bombardment.
Divination, which was always standard playable, was draw 2 for 3cmc. This is 2 for 2. Seems like a great rate that scales up. I wonder if it makes the cut for modern playability over AV. More expensive, but immediate return.
Edit: Actually, does this count itself on resolution? If so that's amazing, if not it's still ok
Accumulated knowledge also counts the copies your opponent played. This one is playable, but more restrictive in deckbuilding. It still makes a good impression for the start of a control deck.
The galavanic one will probably be playable in standard, but without hitting faces I think that's the only place where it will see play.
Pauper players must be happy though.

Would you like to read Commander stories? Check my latest stories, coming from Lorwyn and Innistrad: Ghoulcaller Gisa and Doran, The Siege Tower! If you like my writing, ask me to write something for your commander as well!
As far as intro pack rares go, you can legitimately say that Noosegraf Mob does not die to removal.
I played with grave titan. I knew grave titan. Grave titan was a card of mine. Zombie mob, you're no grave titan
Sanctifier of Souls is absurdly great in sealed, probably draft, too. No sorcery restriction like his cousins in SOI, either. Wow, what a great card. First pickable.
I feel like Accumulated Knowledge would be too strong for modern. In a control shell or Delver where there is a slot open for Think Twice, people would run 4 of these instead and by the second one would already be producing significant card advantage with a strictly better Divination.
Those cards count all graveyards including your opponents which makes them unsuitable for modern magic which cares only for your side of the field. "fixed" versions would have been great.

Not only that, but it would probably push Storm over the edge to Tier 1 imo.

I wonder why it isn't actually accumulated knowledge. Seems like that could easily fit the theme.

It's now a Sorcery.
Probably because as an Instant, Accumulated Knowledge is too powerful for Standard?
