Now, the real question is: Did Maro finally assemble contraptions?

Vorthos Cartography - Check out my completed maps of Zendikar and Innistrad!
"You say 'learn from history,' but that does not mean 'learn the same bull***** the people in history learned alongside phrenology and alchemy.'" - The Blinking Spirit
I hate this they make us wait 4 long months to unraveled the mysteries of Innistrad and they will give not more than 2 month to Eldritch moon Meaning: it is probably going to suck and be a far greater deception than anticipated. They didn't know there marketing tricks with the mystery was going to work. But it work too well.
Now, for my part, I was excitingly awaiting the return of Phyrexia and the continuities of important stories ( like said the main one!)but now they are spreading too thin with Kaladesh and what not. Unless this have something to do with Phyrexia I am a lot disappointed.
And last thing between you and me I have a hard time putting the Eldrazis on the top of the list of the vilains. I personaly don't like them next to Phyrexia ( real evil of MTG world ) and they gave us some ***** return to Zendikar but no return of Phyrexia. I am tired of being played by those guys just do the right thing and let the destruction and assimilation of every planes Begins!.
"Let weak feed upon weak, that we may divine the nature of strength"
"From void evolved Phyrexia. Great Yawgmoth, Father of Machines, saw its perfection. Thus the Grand Evolution began."
"Ash is our air, darkness our flesh."
"Father of Machines! Your filigree gaze carves us, and the scars dance upon our grateful flesh."
"Great Yawgmoth moves across the seas of shard and bone and rust. We exalt him in life, in death, and in between."
This set feels like a good place to reprint Electrolyze.
They've kind of hardcore nerfed Red's burn power in Standard. You have to get to higher CMC spells or jump through hoops to get any semblance of efficiency out of them anymore.
I actually think Aether Revolt is probably my second favourite set name ever, after Morningside this is completely ignoring the contents of sets tho, Eventide was may fave for cards oddly enough
If Eldritch Moon isn't your favorite set name you're wrong
I do rather like Eldritch Moon, is has to be said :3 Also, pink is my favourite colour so that helps
I think Aether Revolt might be pushing higher in my estimations the more I think on it tho
What sorts of cards will be in the Kaladesh set?
Looking at Origins on Gatherer it looks like there will be Chandra, artificers, aeronauts, thopters, constructs, equipment, and enchantments with effects related to artifacts.
Will white, black and green interact with artifacts in different ways?

They weren't ever going to do a 3rd return plane in a row, they stated as much...... why would you have hoped for Phyrexia?
I just don't understand why new planeswalkers are introduced so often on their home plane? Why do they all planeswalk right back where they came from? No curiosity what other planes there might be? Already in perfect control of their planeswalk abilities after ignition, so they can easily return?
Feels so illogical to me. Tamiyo-style is more plausibel and interesting. A Planeswalker on his homeplane feels no more than a legendary creature.
The majority of Planeswalkers we have were actually introduced on planes they weren't from. Not sure where you're coming from, unless you think even at the current rate it's "too often." In which case, idk what to tell you.
"Welcome to Kaladesh – a vibrant, beautiful plane where anything is possible. Join the heroic Planeswalkers of the Gatewatch as they explore the Inventors’ Fair, and let your imagination soar alongside thopters and airships crafted by the best artificers in the Multiverse. Come discover the marvels of Kaladesh – its inhabitants, its inventors, and its artifacts. They all await you at the grand Inventors' Fair!"

Well, recall that Tamiyo's involvement in ISD was "and also Tamiyo was there, I guess." With the push to make the plot matter again, new walkers are going to have to do a thing, and not all of them are going to have Gideon's hero complex. Debuting them on their homeworld prepackages that, considering Wizards' predisposition to "the whole world is threatened by something" plots.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Once MaRo said that three returns in a row are possible ("when" instead of "if"). And yes, technically Kaladesh block can count as return block.
I do not agree that this is a return to Kaladesh, even technically. Magic Origins does not count as a visit to any plane, just like the core sets did not count.
You have EMA spoilers starting next week and then 2 weeks after EMA comes out we have EMN spoilers. Then Conspiracy, then Kaladesh. There's not a lot of lull time left. The hype will build as we get closer to various release dates.

I noticed the same thing for Aether Revolt. It's really odd.

I made a cube. It's called 'babe cube' because all the cards have babes on them. http://www.cubetutor.com/draft/58369

Modern:
RG Titanshift. A deck made of cards too stupid for EDH.
Retired: Lots. More than I feel you should suffer through or I should type out.
