Oath of Nissa seems useful if you really want to play the Avengers planeswalkers deck. I am interested in the fact that they mentioned Tibalt in the article of all planeswalkers. Foreshadowing much?
Not a big fan of the fumarole but maybe I am missing something.
They probably could have made the manland activate for 3 mana, but at the very least it is something a little more interesting than it turning into a french vanilla.
I'm not too sure how to think about Nissa's Oath, but it is pretty neat.
This one is a lot better than Jace's. Gives you an effect that most green decks would want at 1 mana and allows for easier splashing of any Planeswalkers.
Yes, Jace's let you dig 3 as well, but 1 mana vs 3 mana matters. Sure, you can't dig instants and sorceries, but it is green after all.
Yep, good Oath card is good. Replaces itself with something of your choice and basically makes all your planeswalkers cost all generic mana.... For one mana. These cards are sweet.

It's too expensive to activate, but the UR manland might still see some play. It's neat, and certainly not what I (nor anyone else that I've seen) was expecting.
Nissa's oath is also pretty solid. Makes it a lot easier to splash walkers and replaces itself when you cast it. Not too shabby.
UR manland looks like the best of the bunch to me. No cost or timing restriction to activate its p/t switching ability is great.
Nissa's oath is sweet too. At 1 mana it feels like something that could see play in modern. The color fixing might not matter much, but it could be a valid cog for creature based combo decks that aren't blue.
Nissa's Oath is amazing. The manland is very disappointing. I'd rather have Lumbering Falls 99/100 times. The only reason anyone is even entertaining the thought of playing it competitively is because it's Izzet.

Bolt-proof Izzet manland with a 4-5 turn clock? Sign the Modern players up!
People really don't like the manland? It can block for days and swing for 4. That seems nuts to me. I'd much rather have it cost 4 to turn it on since I can switch it's P/T at will.
I love how LSV's article helps us understand how bad this UR Manland can be in manu situations, despite his effort to hype the card. Not that it is unplayable, of course, but maybe 4 CC to animate is a bit too much. Why have they been so incredibly careful with this cycle? The other five are good, but not overpowered...
They were probably being careful because of Awaken being around this time, and they didn't want any of the new lands to get broken from it.
Yeah that green cantrip is better than any cantrip blue has gotten since ponder reprint a few years back. Really solid card. UR manland at 1UR and zero to activate would probably have been too good. Oh and if damage still stacked it would be busted in half. It's mediocre neither great nor bad.

Again, unless I'm shoehorned into playing Izzet, I'd rather have Lumbering Falls most of the time. It's more bolt-proof than the Izzet land, and more importantly, it's immune to Combust.
If the activation cost were 1 less, it'd be a lot more competitive, but as is, you're paying 2UR to animate a land that will die to bolt + chump block.
Anyone else a little perturbed that green is getting better cantrips and CA lately than blue? This is easily Jund/Junk playable, that not only fixes Lili/Sorin/Chandra mana, but also gives Goyf another subtype in the yard....So dumb.

Shambling Vent says hello. UG one isnt bad either
It's sweet that Wandering Fumarole can always take a single Lightning Bolt if you activate the ability a second time.
