If there's somethin' strange on Zendikar, who you gonna call?
The Gatewatch!
If there's somethin' weird, and it don't look good, who you gonna call?

You know what would make this card sooo much better? Llanowar Elves, or God forbid birds of paradise.
Makes me sad. Sarkhans Triumph is a better card, is an instant, existed with the last elf left behind in Elvish Mystic, and has seen about zilch competitive play.
I think if the plan is to baby Jace this, you'll be dead before you durdle your way to a board state that does anything.
I'd like to like this card, but I just don't.
All the negativity aside, I wish an awesome alternate art version of this was the prerelease promo. Can we just go back to everyone gets a semi cool somewhat playable card at the prerelease? The stamp random thing sucks.
a Planeswalker Tutor, arguably was a matter of when rather then if. The popularity of planeswalkers was going to force its existence. The planeswalkers will return it looks like and Zendikar will be eldrazi chow without time and Nahiri the challenge seems too great.
Card aside, the fact that there are people who still don't understand and its flavor is dissapointing.
People apparently treat casting planeswalkers like casting creatures, not realizing that it's more of calling a favor from the planeswalker (hence the loyalty system). Which color is the best at recruiting planeswalkers to help? Which color represents loyalty the best as well?
The flavor on this is so lame. Not just the flavor text, but the flavor behind the card, in general.
Good card, though.
What's lame about the flavor of a white planeswalker using their magic to gather allies?

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Perfect card to fill up the 42 some-odd rare slots in the set. Feels "rarish", might make someone that doesn't know what is going on excited, and is complete garbage for anyone that plays. But, every pack has to have a rare!
I just know I'm pulling two of these in my sealed pool at per-release.

No, my point is that there are still so many people saying things like "So now my Perilous Myr costs ?" or "Call the Gatewatch should have in cost so it's more pushed". People, really? Really?
I understand what you're driving at. I'm just reinforcing that people don't seem to have a grasp on the "Identity" of Colors (or lack of Color).
I don't want to delve back into people not understanding that Generic Costs and Colorless Costs are a world of difference, I had enough of that during the debate over what C meant when it wasn't officially previewed.
This art is awesome. I want a full resolution version of it.
Yea its pretty cool, the titans are certainly imposing over there. I knida wish they were posed a little more dramatically. They are kinda statue-y. They look like their just durdling around rather than really consuming/destroying/distorting reality on Zendikar. Shrug.
Still, I agree its pretty cool art

The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can tough the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since beginning-less time, darkness thrives in the void but always yields to purifying light.
I invision a future where one is not mighty when he can silence a crowd with brutality,
but when he leaves them speechless with wisdom.
Ulamog looks depressed in this art. Kozilek is clearly the big brother in this pecking order, and Ulamog looks like someone took away his hall monitor badge.

Right, suddenly I don't mind drawing that turn 5 Duress/Despise.
Good card, though.

So you're saying you don't like magic just trying to cash in on The Avengers theme? Welcome to the minority.

Better flavor text honestly.
But I can totally envision Spectral Searchlight shining through the AEther.
