UPDATE: Discussion in the community has yielded a couple examples of pre-existing concept keys matching very closely with the bismuth elements in the art for Wastes. The artwork for Skitterskin and Kozilek's Sentinel, which are both of Kozilek's lineage, show intentional use of bismuth as some effect which their presence has on the land/earth in their presence. Larger images of the artwork are in the spoiler below.
Skitterskin (large chunk of bismuth-like rock at the bottom; Eldrazi is also very opalescent like the bismuth)
Unsure if I believe they're real or not but they seem pretty legit.
Kozilek art is new, though it could be fan art. It's been mentioned his activated ability text seems off compared to Hisoka, Minamo Sensei, however Hisoka's templating is over 10 years old now, and he had much less text to fit onto his card.
The new type of mana is the most questionable thing to me, as it would seem odd for Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger not to use a mechanic as another Eldrazi Titan is using. The lack of symmetry seems odd. So does the artwork provided, as the Eldrazi wastes have a particular visual aesthetic that the Wastes artwork doesn't reflect. (ie. Blighted Cataract)
On the other hand, the second and third sets in a block tend to evolve from the basic mechanics, so it may not be impossible.
I wonder if Koz needs to be cast with wastes type mana, essentially making a 6th color, or if that new symbol can be paid with any colorless mana - so long as it's purely colorless.
Wouldn't any cards with that mana symbol in its cost have reminder text like the phyrexian mana cards do, such as Mental Misstep?
It wouldn't necessarily be the same, being that if this is real then that type of mana has a land and mana type specifically for it in this case; rather than it being an alternate cost. If Wastes is real then reminder text about the mana cost would actually be redundant.
That name is waaaaay to close to Wasteland to be a real card. Also what are the Diamonds on Kozilek? Only colorless mana?
There's quite a few cards in Magic with very similar names. This is probably only a mid-level offender if name similarity even counts as a mark against it.
The basic seems to be missing the same subtype seen on other BfZ full-art lands.
I thought so too, but I think that it is not a mistake, without a type after the basic land they technical did not create a 6th basic land type, because it has no type. I could be wrong, but it sounds right

Yeah, they often talked about how Barry's Land (a basic colorless land) couldn't be done cause a new basic land type would cause lots of problems. A basic land without subtypes does not cause those issues.
My only concern is with the lack of reminder text on Kozilek, but other than that the card seems cool
It isn't unheard of at all for Mythics to not have reminder text. There isn't exactly a lot of room left over on the card after all that writing, so it makes sense that it wouldn't have the reminder text. The art also looks pretty legit and the rules text on Kozilek all works. The basic land doesn't have any subtypes which gets around some of the rules issues involved in making another basic land.
Well, get your hands on every foil you can of the Waste, because they will be in high demand for all the EDH players who want to run colorless commanders. Might be a $15-$20 foil for a while, and if this is the only set with them for a while, Waste in general might be pretty expensive in a few years. Actually makes Colorless generals playable.

I'd rather have it have a basic type so that it interacts more with domain. Seriously domain could use the help and so could Draco. I can't think other than Coalition Victory does a new basic type make a card more difficult.
Domain is the reason they wanted to make this kind of card in the first place (and Domain being my first deck, I'd love to see this happening). But they said they don't want the Coalition Victory problem happening (if they print a 6th land type, suddenly the card would change how it works).
The problem is, according to the current rules, this new land does literally nothing. Not even tap for colorless.
305.6. The basic land types are Plains, Island, Swamp, Mountain, and Forest. If an object uses the words “basic land type,” it’s referring to one of these subtypes. A land with a basic land type has the intrinsic ability “{T}: Add [mana symbol] to your mana pool,” even if the text box doesn’t actually contain that text or the object has no text box. For Plains, [mana symbol] is {W}; for Islands, {U}; for Swamps, {B}; for Mountains, {R}; and for Forests, {G}. See rule 107.4a. Also see rule 605, “Mana Abilities.”

Assuming it's real, did you quit when they printed Emrakul, the Aeons Torn?

Actually would make sense design-wise because of Domain.

Although if these are real, they are both very cool. And kozilek is ridiculously powerful.
If they're fakes, they're damn good ones.
