Doesn't look very playable to me in standard, can't think of a home for it. Pretty awesome in limited though.

i wish she was cheaper to cast so i could add her to my mono black agro deck

seems strong with those annoying recurring black cards. like bloodghast and blood soaked champion. Gives late game reach. Also seems good with bitterblossom lingering souls and any token related cards. Heck maybe even with Endrek Sahr Master Breeder lol

I feel bad for the author who had to write an article with her in a Standard deck

Wow, the level of boring and unimaginative design in this set amazes me. It seems they didn't even bother trying to make something interesting.

Yeah, it does feel like landfall kind of got nerfed. It's a big flyer for limited, and that's probably even more relevant in this limited format than usual with all the huge ground pounders, but that's as far as this vampire will fly.

I guess the Gatekeeper got killed, if they're liberating Malakir? Still hoping for him and Nighthawk.

It will be good if Bx aggro is a thing and with Drana is certainly looks like they want it to be a thing. Considering there will be plenty of ramp getting to six for agggro is not insane

Looks decent with endrek sahr and a way to fetch a swamp each turn at least.

even at 2BB it wouldn't fight for the spot of best 4 drop and that says a lot for a card that costs 4BB

still, anything that flies and has more than 3 power will steal a couple limited matches... lol

at the very least, this dude should be affected by it's own landfall trigger.

Could have been a 4/4 without influencing anything in a negative way. Pretty underwhelming.

Aggro decks don't want to touch a six drop with a 10 foot pole. Especially six drops that only do anything of note if you play more lands. Tell me, have you ever looked at the types of curves supported by aggro decks? Usually they're only undercut by RDW.

I agree! I wouldn't even put this in my vampire tribal edh deck, this gets outclassed by much better 5 & 6 drop cards!

But is it the worst rare of the set? Now thats a race.
