Scour From Existence7
Instant (C)
Exile target permanent. "Our people and our very lands disappear as if they never were. We no longer fight for glory, or honor. We battle now for the right to exist."
-General Tazri, allied commander
Nice! They've been enforcing the idea that colorless can answer any permanent at 7 for a while now, with Spine of Ish Sah, Karn Liberated, Unstable Obelisk. This does so at Instant and at Common. Very elegant.
So many ways to deal with limited bombs in this set. Things that produce multiple threats seem to be the only way to go in limited. Should make for an interesting draft I suppose.

RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.
Utter End that can hit lands and is colorless. Yeah, I can see why it costs 7...this is going to go in a lot of budget EDH builds.

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
reminds me of Spine of Ish Sah and Desert Twister none of those are particularly strong cards in a vacuum.
at least this one is common and instant...
will destroy lots of stuff in limited for sure
Instant-speed, extremely versatile removal and includable in any Commander deck in existence. It might cost 7 but that won't be too big of a deal in Commander. This might be a staple.
There's something...elegant about this. Maybe it's just the simplicity of the effect (three-word spell) combined with the single number in the casting cost and the lack of color on the card. It looks nice. And it's not even a terrible card, as commons go, especially in colors without strong removal options (it's convenient that GU, GR, and UR all seem to be ramp archetypes to some extent).
I...might actually play this in my Melek deck if I put it back together, just to have a strong answer to enchantments that isn't Chaos Warp. Oh, and my spare Spine of Ish Sah should also probably be included, but Scour has the advantage of being copyable off of Melek or the other spell-doubling effects, as well as being instant speed. In any case, more options never hurts.
I'm big fan of this for mono-R EDH. Sure, Karn Liberated is generally better, but I don't have to play $35 for this, the instant speed matters, and I can flash it back with Past in Flames or copy it with Fork.
I'm SO SICK of the "too strong for Standard" argument. It's the new "Dies to removal". We can have a two mana 4/4 with a zillion abilities, but we can't just have Accumulated Knowledge. Makes sense.

No way will this be a staple. It's barely playable at 7. At this point it's going to hard to compete with some of the cheaper, easier to abuse, removal. Mono black might want this but other than that... Nah.
