Woodland Wanderer 3G
Creature -- Elemental
Vigilance, trample Converge -- Woodland Wanderer enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it for each color of mana spent to cast it.
2/2
Another case of using converge as sunburst, it would seem.
So potentially 6/6 vigilance + trample for 4, and all you need is 4 colors in your deck. This doesn't seem like a tall order. Generally will be a 4/4 in Limited (since it starts as a 3/3 thanks to the green), but 5/5+ may not be unheard of.
Probably a 5/5 Vigilance/Trample for 4 in the decks that may want it, which is pretty good, could be larger if 4/5 color is a thing and would make it very good.
Yeah, this is a... surprisingly decent card, considering the general level of rares up to this point. I really hope that we get creatures with more interesting converge effects than just "ETBs with a +1/+1 counter for each color used" though.
So finally people are gonna shut up about how "underpowered" the set is... so... at worst a trampling and vigilant hill giant, at best a 4 mana 7/7 with trample and vigilance, that's pretty good in my book.
I'm betting/dreaming that we're going to have a 2 drop mana dork that produces rainbow mana to replace ye ol' Sylvan Caryatid so there's a chance (if dreams are real) that you would be able to drop this guy with a 6/6 body.
We've actually got some pretty decent "converge" cards despite Wizards need to print Prism Arrays. If the removal isn't too strong in the coming meta a 6/6 vigilance trampler for 4 is going to end games fast.

Guys, this isn't a 4/4 or a 5/5. Mana is so easy in the coming standard, that its always a 6/6 with +1/+1 counter synergies. This card is so efficient it hurts.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.

Even if there isn't, there's always Honored Hierarch. And Rattleclaw Mystic produces three colors. If this can be reliably cast with four colors, it could be solid.

As I keep saying, the fetch/BFZ land manabases will be able to consistently be 4-5 colors easily. This is gonna be extremely playable. It looks like it could even be better than Siege Rhino in this Standard.
Well being able to trump the 4/5 mafia is a pretty big deal. Probably best in Abzan and Temur, but Temur is where you'll probably in 6/6 form off Rattleclaw or Sarkhan Unbrokrn.
Converge seems to very much be a constructed mechanic, and we'll see if it's worth it as we go along.

I don't think a 6/6 is guaranteed, especially on turn 4. I think if you play it on curve, you're most likely looking at a 5/5, which is still good, especially if on curve puts him in play on turn 3.

What do you mean Abzan and Temur? There is almost no reason to not just run a 4th color in those decks. The mana is actually worse without a 4th color.

Honored Hierarch is poop. I hope there's another rainbow dork to replace Caryatid. Otherwise, Rattleclaw is the best bet.
We have threads going discussing the names of these, but we don't have any discussing their usage. This thread is about figuring out just how broken TangoLands + FetchLands are in standard. Consider the following mana base courtesy Patrick Chapin. The first five cards are the Tango(Battle) lands
This probably isn't optimal and only makes use of half the TangoLands, and yet it seems to be a very convincing five color mana base. your lands will enter the battlefield untapped almost always thanks to the raw power of fetches. Only 5 of your 25 lands are theoretically capable of entering the battlefield untapped. After turn two, assuming you drew at least two Fetches/Basics in the top 8 cards (P=0.82), all of your lands will always enter the battlefield untapped. This is insane.

The converge enabler is the BFZ lands. They enable consistent 4-5 color manabases in Standard that have the lands enter untapped. It is absurd.

Is rare because limited could be better if had an ETB ability
