I wish there was a little more to distinguish this from Foundry of the Consuls. Decent enough, but I think the Foundry is preferable for its synergies (though the full eldrazi synergies remain to be seen) and I think a deck paying 6 and sacrificing a land may not be as excited for the potential mana ramp the spawn would give you. I like the art.
6 to use? 6 to use?! the hell? I get trying to have balanced Standard and sealed, but does that HAVE to mean that there just cannot be good cards? MM1 was a great draft format, one of the best ever, and it wasn't full of crap!

I imagine when a set is nothing but reprints, it's easy to say "Yes, that card is objectively non-crap. See this data on how it's been played before and in what formats and the numerous decks it has been part of."

Boosts you from 7+ mana to 9+. Sacrifice it at end of turn, untap, use your Scions to cast something big. Could be playable if an explosive ramp deck takes off.
I get the feeling that by the end of this block that people who'd want to build a colorless EDH deck would find themselves with an overwhelming array of manabase options.
This ones not garbage. Its actually one of the more decent land options I've seen. A good skittering invasion-redux. Contrast it to gargoyle castle, stalking stones. Its a big upgrade from stalking stones, you're getting the same 3/3 power, split into 3 bodies, with the sac clause option being very useful. Just getting 3 chump blockers might be all the reach a deck needs to get out of it, but investing for +2 mana at EOT instant speed is also a big play for hardcasting an eldrazi. I don't know if it will see standard play, but I like it. Its a very solid card, shouldn't poo poo on it

You can't possibly be serious comparing what a set should be to Modern Masters.
Foundry cracks for "5" (6) and provides two Flying blockers that have synergy with the artifacts-matter cards in Origins. Bed cracks for "6" (7) and provides three non-Flying blockers that can also be sacrificed for further ramp and have synergy with Scions-matter cards in BFZ. Seems like a fair rate. Solid card, and if Foundry found a place in monocolor Standard decks, Bed certainly could, too.

So many colorless ultility lands. I like this as a card that can ramp you to Ugin/Ulamog or give you a whole bunch of bodies to stabilize with. Basically a Foundry for decks that want to go bigger.
I think it will see 2-of in a fair amount of lists in standard the more I look at it. I guess I caution that if mana ramp is gimped and 7 becomes a pipe dream

You want it to cost less than that? It provides 3 mana and/or 3 1/1 creatures. That is pretty good for 6 mana. Especially since it doesn't cost a deck slot and produces mana prior to being popped. If this cost less than 6 it would have to be a rare for limited purposes.

To be fair, Foundry of the Consuls provides 2 1/1 fliers that have artifact synergy and still count as colorless for those synergies for just 5 mana.
..........Why must MTG ruin everything that is good
RIP Batman guy. I hope somebody picks up the slack now that you are gone. Sick children need their Batman.

Well, without Bile Blight in the format, this seems fairly likely.
Reprint Stasis!
Control needs more love.
