This guy is scary.Use things like the Retreat to Emeria or something that generates ally tokens.

Ok, let's get this out of the way.

• It should have cost less mana
• It's a do nothing card as a top deck
• Would it have been too broken giving +3/+3?!
• IT DIES TO REMOVAL!

All that said I like it. It's nothing mind blowing and I really can't see it in constructed but I'll take it in limited every day.

Why is every card in this set feels like it is going to be 4+ mana cost?

This is exactly what the elf deck wants to make use of a huge board. It's too bad that Chord is rotating, as this would've been a great target for it.

This is great in Limited, but doesn't seem Constructed-playable.

Geez. 2/1 for 5 is pretty rough. I mean, powerful ability, sure, but still...

Oh wait, I forgot the new Ally template affects all your creatures. A little better, but I can't get over 1 toughness for 5.

All we need is a guy that gives Haste. Then this guy will go from bonkers to straight up honky tonk badonkadonk

Are KIORA and the Temple of Forsaken Gods the ONLY cards with good artwork in this block?!

costing less mana would make this broken. It's an amazing topdeck in a good portion of board states. It doesn't die to removal, because its whole purpose is the team pump. I'd be happy if the opponent used a removal spell on it instead of one of my other dudes. All things considered, this is looking first pickable, has a solid on its own effect, and gets better with more allies.

I don't find it that good, but the fact that you can go turn 4 Gideon into turn 5 this and make a token means +4/+4 for your creatures is pretty cool.

nice allyrunner :p. Look forward to drafting it into an ally deck for limited (if I first pick it).

There are also new duals with Adam Paquette art and, as for me, WU one seriously rocks, but yeah...

That's one of those cards that busts limited open - it's like a multi-use Overrun so of course the body is too small and the cost too high. Stick this guy, attack with stuff. Next turn, play another ally and win.

I think your being to hard on it. Its not as bad as you make it out to be. In an ally tribal deck its a pretty good finisher. Along side the new Gideon those ally tokens are looming pretty sweet.

This thing is the nuts in limited. A Righteous Charge + 2/1 is already pretty solid, and having any ally trigger means that it still absolutely demands removal.

Assessing creatures like these in limited is a braindead task.

At least they can't continue the boring weak creature weak removal trend they've been doing for DTK and Origins with Eldrazi in the set.

I could use this in sealed if you get enough allys abit of fixing no reason not to run this in a sealed deck its a blow out

I actually don't think it's that bad at all. I can certainly see it's potential. It's a little fragile though, and expensive even for it's ability. But in the right shell it's certainly got game ending capabilities. All the bullet points were just the complaints I was expecting people to have. That said I stick to my earlier assessment that this will be a killer limited card and just not quite make it to constructed. But I've been wrong before so who knows.

Anyone else notice it's an Elf?
