Temple of the Forsaken Gods

And I thought we got something insane until I read the "... unless you control seven or more lands" clause. So this is basically garbage, I guess. Very nice artwork, though.
This card seems super bad. Combining Eldrazi Temple's restriction (though it can work on artifacts) with Temple of the False God's restriction (only WORSE) means this seems unplayable literally everywhere. Colorless EDH will run it, but that's a super niche thing.

The flavor text says that the three gods worshiped by the merfolk as Ula, Emeria, and Cosi were actually mistaken memories of the three Eldrazi titans, Ulamog, Emrakul, and Kozilek.
Useful for colorless EDH and not much else.

This is just bad design. If the worry was power level, then they should have just scrapped this or made it legendary without the land count restriction. This would be fine at uncommon otherwise.

This was previously known, but seeing them as statues is quite cool-
I love how Emeria's wings resemble Emrakul's silhouette.

Ugh. Absolutely horrible. My initial suspicion about the Priceless Treasure lands is coming to fruition. They'll need them to sell the set if the rest of it is this bad.
Sweet Jesus YES!! Right into edh deck u go! Hope this art is on a playmat.
That's what I thought until I hit that "Activate this ability only if you control seven or more lands." clause. Instead it sits well below Temple of the False God and Ancient Tomb.
Good in colorless commander decks, for sure. Who are these forsaken gods in the art, though?
After the Eldrazi were locked up Nahiri told tales of them and likened them to evil gods. After thousands of years that got distorted into gods that were worshipped.
Ula = Ulamog (one on the left of the art)
Cosi = Kozilek (one of the right)
Emeria = Emrakul (one in the center)
This is terrible. It ramps you only in the late game, in an extremely narrow fashion, and hurts your fixing until then.
Tron doesn't need it, it's too slow for any normal 60-card Constructed deck, and I'm not even sold on it being EDH playable.
It will be fine in colorless edh decks which is fairly restrictive in the ways you can build the manabase due to color identity rules. Especially in budget builds as I can't imagine this thing holding more than $1 in value after it rotates out.

Why should tron use this? Once they have 7 or more lands they have all the mana in the world. No need for a land like that.
I wish it wasn't restricted to colorless though. Seven or more lands is enough to add 2 IMO.

I was hoping for a Temple of the False God rainbow land-
This pretty much rules that out

A rare that's worse than one of the preconstructed DD:ZvE uncommons?
That's just insulting. Is the translation on that 100% for sure?

Oh well. At least I would be able to get one for cheap.
