The card as translated doesn't explicitly state that the tutored card must be revealed. Every tutor that has a stipulation on it has the reveal phrase on it, as it's necessary to demonstrate that the stipulation(s) are met. So... is there no reveal here? Is there an "understood" reveal?
The simplest explanation is just that that part of the translation was messed up. That's a lot more likely than any of what you're suggesting.
Yeahhh, I was the one who wrote the translation that was first posted on Reddit. Totally forgot about the reveal clause, but it does say as such. (Look for それを公開し.)

Only if Hangarback Walker would cost 7 or more, so you would need to throw at least 8 mana into to it to give it an additional +1/+1 - a bit inefficient.
You would need 4 copies of this card out to technically make it for free, which also seems like a tough one to pull off.
Not true, while it only tutors for 7 or more, the reduced cost specifically says "The first creature you cast each turn costs 2 less," which means if you say x=1, Hangarback as a 1/1 is free if you cast it first.

Completely false. It isn't necessary for a tutor to have such a template, look at Liliana Vess and Diabolic Tutor for example, even without going back to Demonic Tutor or Vampiric Tutor of course... Obviously I underline regardless to the template of this specific Eldrazi, which seems to have it after all, probably for power level reasons.
Those black tutors don't have stipulations,
like how Worldly Tutor can only fetch a land or a creature,
or how Beseech the Queen can only find cards of a certain CMC.
You have to reveal the card to show that the stipulation is being met.

Let me correct that... when a card instruct you to search for a card with a specific characteristic, such as being a land, instant, sorcery or a colorless creature with CMC 7 or more, it will always ask you to reveal it, to demonstrate that you are meeting the requirement, that is not the case with the cards you pointed out, as those cards can be any card and you don't have to meet any requirements
I swear I first read it as Wingbonger...something tells me that "As Long as Wingbonger is paired with another creature, both creatures have weed." wouldn't be as good. Seems solid for limited.
This makes that UB counterspell Eldrazi cost 2. Just a thought. Play this. Untap (hopefully with Ulamog) Play another. Leave 2 untapped for Ulamog's Nullifier. Next turn smash face.

If we get a good 7 mana Eldrazi, this guy will be much more valuable than currently.

comparing to another 'when you cast' like Oblivion Sower or Desolation Twin this is basically uncounterable tutor for fat colorless creature.
I'm getting 4 of these, these guys are like Urza's Incubators that can smash your opponent's face.

Lol except you're paying the full 10 mana and not getting the Exile 2 permanents effect. I'd rather cast him from my hand.
RIP Mike McArtor. The Mothership won't be the same.
