2/2 elemental creature
landfall- whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on ()
whenever damage is dealt to () remove a +1/+1 counter from () and prevent the damage, unless it has no +1/+1 counters on it.
Have been away for a few days, I totally didn't realize that I forgot the prevention ability on it. But when it takes any damage you remove a counter and prevent the entire damage, so no this card is most certainly not garbage and could be insane

It's not a horrible drawback. It also means stuff like bolts can't kill it if you landfall the turn it comes into play, and that it can chump-block like a king. You need to have played with the Phantom creatures from Judgment to understand, so although it's not the greatest mythic around, it would be incredibly annoying in limited at uncommon.
"landfall- whenever a land enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on ()"
Could this be a global Landfall? If so, then that makes it mythic. Then again, we've not seen a global Landfall card yet - so it seems highly unlikely.

Yeah at uncommon it would be annoying. At rare it's acceptable. At Mythic rare I do not enjoy it at all.

Except as posted it doesn't have the phantom damage prevention rider, so it would just be horrible and would die to bolt even if it was a 4/4.

with the way it is worded in the OP any 2 dmg spell kills it in this situtation turn 4 play it play a land turn it into a 3/3 = wild slash remove a counter it becomes a 2/2 and dies. For it to be playable it has to prevent the dmg or redirect it or something
Don't think they'd make landfall trigger on any land entering the battlefield. Guessing the +1/+1 counters in this case would be coupled with damage prevention a la the phantom creatures, Phantom Centaur.
Seems a bit tame for mythic, agreed. But the card itself seems good.

Basically a Phantom creature from Judgement, but doesn't have that loophole where it can become immune to damage if it has anything boosting its power outside of counters.
I think mystic is where it belongs... +1/+1 whenever A land (opponent's too! and fetchs are standard legal) comes into play. It's a "standard tarmogoyf", kinda, and the remove a counter is probably preventing damage in exchange.
If it's like that, it sure feels like a mythic rare for standard.

I'm sure the landfall for this isn't including opponents lands, as landfall has always been your own lands.
This seems really bad at mythic status.Zendikar has been really underwhelming cards apart from the other mythics spoiled so far.Seems they are afraid and are making alot cards weaker then they supose to be, most likelly because of limited or they want to balance things out by making the booster packs even more of a lotery
If it is double sided land fall, which would make it considerably stronger and deserving of mythic rarity, than I think landfall ability word would not used. it would be too "confusing".
It would have to be called "megalandfall"

Why on earth is that Mythic as opposed to, say, Common or Uncommon?
Even the most fragile draft environment would sustain this as a Rare.
