Rally- Whenever Hero of Goma Fada or another Ally enters the battlefield under your control, creatures you contrail gain indestructible until end of turn.
4/3
"They seek to break us. Let us show them our strength!"
Ally hype is on, also it looks like at least some Ally creatures will also buff non-allies, potentially opening up that deckbuilding space. Allies were terribly parasitic before.

It just had to be a 4/3, didn't it? For five mana to boot. I'm a little disappointed but I guess it's still pretty good. Would've much rather have seen it as a 4/4 or even a 3/4 instead.
What's with the booster pack form on the poster? Weren't the all foil boosters like that?
That's just how they package them for Walmart (booster with this larger cardboard package around it). They've been using that style since at least RTR.
Not a fan of the Dreg Reaver stats. As far as a card that continuously makes your creatures indestructible, I prefer Frontline Medic. Maybe there's a card that makes instant-speed allies.
I do like the keyworded Ally mechanic, and that it doesn't only affect your allies. Hopefully there are better (non-intro pack rare) cards with it.
And Rally contains the word "ally". Coincidence? I think not!
Makes since this time around the allies are allies to everyone not just themselves.
I'm likeing the new allies, they work well with what the old allies where doing but having a differnt play style.

Man, they have sort of been doing that for a while now. Although, to me, it seems more like Ascension is taking things from MtG and somehow releasing them sooner (i. e. Erebos and Erabus).

Well, when both sources are trying to use English words to describe an effect ...
Many of the Theros gods (at least, the monocolor ones) derive their names heavily from Greek mythology. Heliod -> Helios (god of the sun), Thassa -> Thalassa (sea goddess), Erebos -> Erebus (god of Shadow), etc.

Does this mean all the previous ally cards will get a "Rally" errata?
Nope. The new allies just work with everyone equally, while the old ones were selfish.
OT: Seems pretty decent. If Allys becomes a standard deck, this guy could be their curve topper. Especially if Join the Ranks or an improved version of Join drops (XWW Instant, put X 1/1 Solder Allys on the battlefield)

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

There's a really good chance that won't happen because of the previous allies. With token spawn cards, the tokens come in at the same time. So for the allies like Halimar Excavator they would get a trigger for each token that entered, and the X amount would be the total amount of allies. That's why Join the Ranks cost four and could still be played. The multiple triggers at a higher amount makes up for it. Not to mention if you have multiple Allies that have those triggers, ex 3 Halimar Excavator and 2 Ondu Cleric. Playing Join the Ranks with just those out, makes them mill 42 cards, and you heal for 28 (2 EtB triggers and a total of seven allies).
This really should have flash. As it is, it costs too much, should have been 1 less.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
I would assume that Rally just means "Whenever this or an Ally enters the battlefield under your control...", not that all Rally effects do something to all of your creatures. So Hada Freeblade should work fine as a Rally ability even though he only affects himself.
I'm amused that the Ally mechanic started as a keyword called "Teamwork", switched over to an unnamed mechanic associated with a novel type similar to Traps, and now actually does have a name, only it's an ability word rather than a keyword.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

That should assuage people's fears that Allies would be too "different" than last time.

Join the Ranks was pretty good. A little costly, but good for what you want to do. Maybe we'll see a reprint, or a better version?
Maybe a cheaper 2-drop version of Join the ranks That makes only 1 token

Even if you cannot trigger it again it is definitely still worth playing.
