So we had this art in today's Uncharted Realms. It looks to pretty clearly be a basic swamp art from the upcoming Zendikar set, which bums me out quite a bit because it's not full art.
If anyone has an idea about what else it could be, I'm all ears.
Wow, I really hope you're wrong, as that doesn't look at all to be full art. This should have been our chance to finally get new full-art lands. God knows how many boxes I'd buy if that were the case.

That'd be nice, but there isn't enough green in the art for it to be Verdant Catacombs. However, if the enemy fetches aren't in BFZ after no full-art basic lands, I -- and a lot of other people -- are going to be royally PO'ed.
EDIT: Also, the art just doesn't appear to have any catacombs in it.
As I have stated before, I do not expect enemy fetches or full art lands in Battle for Zendikar.
The Zendikar from BFZ is not the Zendikar from the original Zendikar. It has been damaged and gnawed on by 3 Eldrazi for a number of years. The landscape has changed. I expect we'll see something in the second part of the set, but the first part is going to be pretty depressing.
Maybe I'll be wrong, but I would rather not see either in BFZ just because I think it is a bad move to always bring the same stuff back in the same blocks. It makes for uninteresting flavor if nothing ever changes.
I actually hope BFZ doesn't have full art lands. We already have full arts showcasing Zendikar's landscape. If we get full arts in BFZ we'll be unlikely to get them again for years. Give another plane a chance at full art lands, I say!
From my point of view, definitely a BFZ land. The depleted hedron is a sign this is a landscape from after the Eldrazi apocalypse.Maybe just a Swamp, or some BG land, or even just some pretty picture they won't use on a card.
I have to disagree with the people saying no to full art lands in BFZ. I think we have waited long enough, and this is the best place to put them.

I agree that we have waited long enough, but not that this is the best place to put them. We know Wizards wants to keep full-art lands a special thing, so next time we see them it will be the last for years. We already have Zendikar full-art lands and if we are going to get full-arts once every 4 to 5 years, I'd rather have some variety.
As I have stated before, I do not expect enemy fetches or full art lands in Battle for Zendikar.

This poster gets it
Besides, I wouldn't bet on the full cycle of fetches being standard legal all at once, they already said they weren't super thrilled with how 5 colour decks worked out with Shadowmoor/Alara
It's ridiculous to look at a piece of art and say it's not "full art". What does that even mean? I can put the full art border over anything and call it full art. Just chill out and wait for the set.
If enemy fetches aren't in this set it will be a large failure on behalf of Wizards. It's not "lazy" or "stale" to those bring fetchlands back; it's good macro-level game design. Five cards that are ubiquitous and were staples from the original isn't indicative of a lack of creativity - rather the opposite, with them realizing various aspects of the block (landfall etc) that were well received in the past and the ZEN fetches are a much needed reprint.
As for full art basics, I recall MaRo mentioning something to the effect of "in a set that needs to be sold," with his stance being that full art lands would likely be seen next in a set that would need assistance in being sold. I do not expect this set to be BFZ, but they have been shaky and changing on their opinions in the past.
I am pretty positive this is simply a basic Swamp card.

I never said a lack of creativity. I said uninteresting flavor. The fetchlands are generic enough to be able to be printed in any block. Heck, every new set has people clamoring for fetches, Zendikar be damned. Things like shocklands unfortunately are very tied to the Ravnica plane so we'll never get new interesting lands in any Ravnica block and I think that is a shame.
Look what they did with the allied fetches. They got new art, flavor text and put into modern. Whether you like the new art or not, they got creative and put dead dragon bones in the art and brought some flavor to the Tarkir landscape. What if the odyssey fetches were THE Dominaria fetches? We still wouldn't have them in modern. The truth is that the allied fetches did a ton for dropping prices on enemy fetches. Modern Jund has a much better manabase because of it. It doesn't really need verdant catacombs reprinted yet.
We haven't even had a full year with the new fetches in modern.
The land has changed so much in Zendikar from the Eldrazi that a misty rainforest may now be a tainted wood. Obviously it won't be that because of the black matters theme of that card. But Wizards being Wizards will probably put enemy fetches into one of the Zendikar sets because of the perceived uproar by the players even if there is no reason to be irate about not including them.
Full disclosure:
I do not own any enemy fetches.
I think enemy fetches need to be reprinted to reduce price
All Khans fetches are climbing pretty steadily and polluted delta is nearing $20, which is $10 less than marsh flats.
A lot of the art posted on MagictheGathering.com is cropped. There is no way to know looking at this art whether it is the full card art or just a cropped section.
So much this. The filter lands need reprinting far, far more badly than the enemy fetches, which already exist in substantially higher numbers (with the possible exception of Graven Cairns). There is ZERO reason that so many lands that see so little play (in comparison to shocks/fetches) should all command $8+, with Twilight Mire in particular being just obscene.
I think that all the Modern and some of the legacy BGx decks play Mire as a two of. Being a rare land from an under opened set.... It wasn't too long ago that Fulminator Mage was in the price bracket.
However, if the enemy fetches aren't in BFZ after no full-art basic lands, I -- and a lot of other people -- are going to be royally PO'ed.
Wizards doesn't owe the player base anything. They'll do with their set what they wish, and if enemy fetches or full-art basics don't line up with their plan for the block, then so be it.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.
Besides, I wouldn't bet on the full cycle of fetches being standard legal all at once, they already said they weren't super thrilled with how 5 colour decks worked out with Shadowmoor/Alara
I'm not sure I understand the parallel to Time Spiral/Shadowmoor and Lorwyn/Alara Standard here. Fetchlands are not Vivid Lands + Reflecting Pool. In the absence of typed duals, they get worse proportional to the number of colors you're playing (more than two) due to their lack of flexibility after you crack them. Besides, Alara Block Constructed's five-color decks were enabled solely by trilands, which we already have five of in Standard. If five-color decks are not playable now, adding a cycle of enemy-color fetchlands isn't going to change that.
However, if the enemy fetches aren't in BFZ after no full-art basic lands, I -- and a lot of other people -- are going to be royally PO'ed.

On the contrary, they owe us a product we want to buy. Meeting expectations is a big part of that, especially when those expectations will sell the set on their own. Going back to Zendikar without including the things people remember the setting for would largely defeat the purpose of calling it Zendikar, except for story progression (which is not the primary concern, anyway). This is why we got guilds when we returned to Ravnica (a retcon!) and artifacts when we went back to Mirrodin. I think it's safe to expect another land theme, though possibly not landfall explicitly. Full-art basics were done the first time around because they wanted to make the lands feel a little more special in accordance with this theme, so it's likely we'll see those back as well.

Ha! Though really, I see about as much verdancy and catacombs as in the original art, so I wouldn't say this can't be it.
I think there's enough green in it, but my bet would still be on swamp.
Precisely, it could easily continue downwards.
