Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
So that means that it is an out-of-the-set card, and it will not even be included in the main Origins set, right?
That is correct, this appears to be an intro pack reprint, similar to how Nightmare, etc were "reprinted" in M15, legal in Standard, but not in boosters.
FYI since I'm sure I'll get a few dozen PMs on it by morning: Yes, the mockup I made for the spoiler to correct the awkward angle the card is being held at has a holostamp. There's an issue with the template & fixing that is going to take more consciousness than I have at 3:30 AM.

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
More Eagle of the Watch for Modern available? Exactly what the format needed!
And being the number 275/272 means he won't appear in limited, which makes its reprint even better!
But at least, Gideon gets some birds from his home planet!
No, the card will not be in the main set. It'll be in the supplemental beginner's packs much like last year's Nightmare and Terra Stomper.

Finally after years of complaining, it has finally paid off and we have Flying return in a magic set.
Now we just need to convince WotC to bring back goblins and blue cards.
Also, you forgot that Eagle of the Watch also confirms reach to "return" in magic origins. Not that there was ever any doubt, but you should include it for completion's sake.

At the end of Maro's column this week, he strongly hinted that there are changes to evergreen mechanics in Origins. Though flying and vigilance really weren't at risk of being removed. I'd say landwalk is definitely going away. Others that we might lose are intimidate, protection, and regeneration.
Ummmm confirming that flying is "back" isn't really much news. I can't remember the last set that lacked a creature with flying unless I'm forgetting something.
Evergreen mechanics changing in origins wouldn't be remotely surprising with the new rotation schedule coming up sure to shake things up design wise.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."

I'm guessing Portal Three Kingdoms was the first, last, and only set without flying.
How does this confirm fetches in any way? I'd love to see fetches in origins just so I can get back to a 40 set but this spoiler doesn't mean much at all in regards to fetches.

I know a lot of peeps are whining b/c of more Theros but to be honest, Theros is the plane I've fallen most in love with. I'm glad tht as Theros block rotates out its presence will continue to be felt even if it is only a little bit, 1/10th of a large set's setting.

Seems we're back with packaging errors spoiling future cards, 'cause here we get Eagle of the Watch, which confirms a few things:

How so? It seems rather succinct
