As much as I would like to see it, I was not expecting a Standard legal reprint of Damnation anyway. I find the choice to do a second Judge promo of Wasteland unexpected, as well as the choice to do a really new card like Dualcaster.

I will always firmly stand by the belief that Magic is a game first and a collectable second.
No worries, I was just messing around. I traded away my non-foil Damnation a few weeks back expecting it to be in Modern Masters. I wasn't expecting a judge promo of it. I'll try to pick up a Planar Chaos foil now. As for the others, they look like fun picks (might get a wasteland now! )

I just picked up a PLC foil at PAX Boston, or I'd be interested in the Damnation. I'll definitely be looking to get Feldon, Ravages, and Wasteland for the cube.
There are usually around 8-9 foils per year. It's possible they just aren't releasing the remaining 3 yet. Entomb ended up coming out last year even though it was part of the 2011 "set". They'll probably retire a couple and keep others for the latter half of 2015, and include the remaining cards. Alternatively, the others will go out through special means like the Force of Will and Elesh Norn last year.
I guess, if it's going to be a promo that's going to get some distribution, maybe they don't want to overlap that with a product that they want people to buy?
And yeah, they usually have some newer stuff in there too. A lot of the newer Commanders have gotten the Judge Promo treatment (e.g., Riku, Karador). Judges love them some Commander. Lots of these are only available in foil as judge promos.
And I'm okay with Wasteland. When I became a judge a couple years ago, Wasteland wasn't in current circulation, so I didn't get any. I've since acquired Wastelands on my own, but I won't turn down more.

Can anyone explain to me how this printing rules out Damnation in MM2015?
It doesn't at all.
It probably does. WOTC would not print a promo Damnation if it was in MM2015, as those foils will be easy to acquire.
This reduces the chances of a reprint in MM2015 significantly.

Dat Ravages. Considering the Portal one is like 350 now I wouldn't be surprised to see a foil go to like 500.
You can't be serious. Judge Promo Force of Will is only like $750, no way a card that only sees 1% of the play of FoW will be anywhere that high. Really, you don't have to look any further than judge promo imperial recruiter and overwhelming forces to realize that the foil versions of P3K cards are going to be worth less than their original. I wouldn't be surprised at all if promo ravages of war will be under $50.
Can anyone explain to me how this printing rules out Damnation in MM2015?
It doesn't fully rule it out. Just makes it a lot less likely. As others mentioned why do a promo of a card that would get a lot of printing in another product. Also from my understanding judges get paid very little or nothing at all. These promos are kind of their payment. They would risk upsetting the judges by printing giving them a promo that is going to go down in value soon due to reprinting in another product.

Depends heavily on how Ravages is distributed. If it's a L2+ foil or conference presenter foil like Dark Confidant, Elesh Norn, or Force of Will it could be quite expensive. Ravages doesn't really enable any decks like Imperial Recruiter (which is a unique card that is almost always a 4x wherever it is run), but even that card was fairly affordable for a while until people caught on. Since this is basically just Armageddon 5-8, I'm not sure it will cost much. What even runs, legacy Stax?
Good cards. I'm glad they still reward judges with valuable stuff, they deserve that.
Damnation as a judge foil automatically means no MM reprint? I'm not buying it, don't think judge promos count as filling some kind of reprint quota. They're too rare to increase supply to any significant degree.

When I hit my 3000 post mark, I'm gone for good.
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
It doesn't mean that there is a 0% chance of a reprint. It just means that it's less likely since there has been backlash in the past regarding reprints that were close together. I remember reading it either from Maro's blog or someone else. Can't be bothered to dig it up but if someone else wants to that's fine.

Its legacy demand is low enough to be non-existent. It's primarily a cube card to help a strategy that's been severely underwhelming for as long as I can remember.

Yeah - tell me abut Entomb. Ugh. Entomb is an example of why it could still happen - the promo guys and the product line guys aren't always telling each other what they are up to. (I do agree that it's unlikely though.)

I'm particularly excited about Ravages of War, but the rest are fine too. You're probably right in assuming this means no MM2015 Damnation.

By the way Cythare, what is that in your avatar?
I was really hoping for Thalia. Ravages of War will be nice for cubers and maybe legacy Stax players.
My avatar is Taylor Swift in her Shake it Off video.
